Day 104, Thursday, April 14, 2022

The Easter Bunny came to visit the residents at Cedarhurst!.  I think everyone enjoyed the visit from the Easter Bunny.

Day 103, Wednesday, April 13, 2022

This is my friend Kellee sitting in the Gulf of Mexico...literally!  I wish I was with her and Lisa instead of being home with my knee hurting!

Day 102, Tuesday, April 12, 2022

All of the tulips are in bloom.  I can't really see them right now, since I had surgery yesterday, but I have physical therapy tomorrow, so I will see them in the afternoon!

Day 101, Monday, April 11, 2022

Today I had right total knee replacement.  My knee has been bone on bone for many years.  My plan was to wait until I retired to have the surgery.  But COVID changed those plans.  I waited a year and had to have my right shoulder repaired before I could do the knee.  I had so much anxiety my blood pressure was really high.  But everything went well and I should be better in no time.

Day 100, Sunday, April 10, 2022

Jim bought a few of these bird houses made out of a heavy twine to hang in the bushes or on a hook.  We had some crazy birds last year that kept trying to build their nest on the downspout of the gutter.  Hoping this helps those little confused birds!

Day 99, Saturday, April 9, 2022

I had my COVID test yesterday afternoon, so now I have to quarantined until I go to the hospital on Monday.  I made a list of things we need to complete before surgery.

Day 98, Friday, April 8, 2022

We went to Costco and got some snacks.  Well, popcorn and Coco thinks he should have some right now.  I was just emptying the new box onto the snack cart and he heard the bags rustling.  So he though he was going to get his popcorn snack!  It is Skinny Pop, so I guess that isn't so bad!

Day 97, Thursday, April 7, 2022

After going to be fitted for my walker, we stopped at TJ Maxx to feed my Rae Dunn addiction.  I don't have many pieces and I don't WANT all the pieces, but I do need some of the pieces.

Day 96, Wednesday, April 6, 2022

This is getting real!  Jim and I went to "joint replacement" class this morning.  I have been putting this off and I guess I am ready.  I have to do more testing, get my walker fitted and have a COVID test before Monday.

Day 95, Tuesday, April 5, 2022

We had our card swap last night.  I am always amazed at the cards my friends make!

Day 94, Monday, April 4, 2022

After our photo shoot on Saturday at the crop, Pam told us how to take a better selfie.  We tried her instructions and guess what...this is probably the best selfie we have ever taken in the history of selfies!

Day 93. Sunday, April 3, 2022

I am so happy our tulips are coming up!  Jim planted more in the flower beds because ours didn't come up year before last.  We aren't sure if the moles got them or the weather was just too cold!

Day 92, Saturday, April 2, 2022

Tina was behind the camera on this one!  Pam, who is a professional photographer, was giving us her best directions for posing for a flattering image!  Stand with one leg forward, put your hand on your hip, shoulders back, stomach in, chin up and smile!  Oh, my goodness!  We were laughing so hard!  You should see the out takes!

Day 91, Friday, April 1, 2022

I have scrapbooked all of my photos through 2018.  I have 4 containers I use to put finished layouts in until I get time to file them in the chronical album.  When one of them gets full...I file all of them.  The next time I open 2020, I will need to file!  I think I'm going to skip forward or work on 2019! :)

Day 90, Thursday, March 31, 2022

I stopped at the Dollar Tree and picked up a bunch of kitchen utensils.  We had our Totes for Ta-Ta's event in October and one of the knives from the kitchen ended up in my basket of tools.  I have had that knife in my car multiple times and forgot to drop it off.  I felt bad about it, so today I bought all of these kitchen tools for the Moose.

Day 89, Wednesday, March 30, 2022

Coco has been getting on the couch beside me.  He likes to stay just out of my reach most of the time.  But for some reason, he has been getting close enough for me to give him some pets.  He likes it, so he creeps one foot closer to me.

Day 88, Tuesday, March 29, 2022

I went to see the doctor at Midwest Orthopedics this afternoon.  We talked about my right knee being replaced.  Before I went into the office, I took this picture of the pinecones on the tree.  Most of the branches were bare.  I used the portrait mode on my iphone.

Day 87, Monday, March 28, 2022

I have been scrapping so many pictures.  Most of these pages are designed by others.  I get a lot of inspiration from several designers and of course, Pinterest!

Day 86, Sunday, March 27, 2022

Tonight we made a chicken, shrimp and veggie meal in a sheet pan.  It was good and we will try it again soon!
