Our class began this morning at 9 a.m. Carina Gardner taught us how to mix colors. We painted a color wheel while she talked about color and how to use it in design. We had a short break and Heidi Swapp taught us how to construct a mini album using hybrid scrapbook paper. We used the bind it all to put it together.
We rode the city bus to the Neon Boneyard. The Boneyard is where all of the old neon signs are stored from various Las Vegas casinos. I had heard of the boneyard, but it was awesome to be able to walk around and photography the many old signs. We learned about the history of Las Vegas from a very knowledgable volunteer tour guide!
After dinner, we went to the Elton John concert at Ceasar's Palace! It was an awesome concert and I could have listened to him play all night long! Pam and Kelly were just as excited about the concert as I was. This concert was Elton John's 3000th public concert. We all got light sticks with a tag!
