Much to Jim's dismay....I took this photo of him with the plan to do this layout! As the story goes...he wanted to go to the Grand Canyon in 1995, when the kids and I wanted to go to the Bahamas. We went to the Bahamas...and he still wants to go to the Grand Canyon. (Well, we have flown over it 4 times already!) I used Wild Card to cut the vellum "thinking" bubbles. The Grand Canyon stickers and the sunglasses and starfish are Jolee's. The chipboard embellies are from K&Co...as is the paper. The sand paper is punched with a Martha Stewart shell border punch. I inked all the edges (ala Tim Holtz!) The title is made with rub on letters.
We enjoyed having the cabana for shade...definately worth the $20!
I have always wanted to go to the Bahamas...we had the money saved up for a trip too until my DH ended up out of work for 6 months and we depleted our savings:(
ReplyDeleteBahamas is good....it has a beach.
ReplyDeleteSome day Jim...keep dreaming....I need Aprile to go back to the beach so she can keep on working on more beach layouts! She is my inspiration...I am so copying these (with your permission, of course!)
Let's see Grand Canyon or Bahamas... Since I have been to both I would pick the Bahama trip. I've lived in the desert too long and want to see greenery...
ReplyDeleteIm sorry Jim, but the Bahamas will win everytime. At least he can "dream" about it.
