Today was the annual Eagle Census on the Illinois River. We boarded a bus downtown and drove out to Wesley road, where several telescopes were waiting....all focused in on the Bald Eagles who make their home on the Illinois River during the months of December through March. I took of "few" pictures but it was really hard to get a good one in focus because they were about 300 yards away in the tree tops. This is probably the best one....and there are TWO Bald Eagles setting out to fly. It was only about 20 degrees today...and I think it was even colder down by the water. We are planning to go Eagle watching again...hopefully, on a warmer day!

Eagle watching how cool. I think you got a great shot of the 2 of them.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I don't think your pics are too bad considering how far away they are!
ReplyDeleteVery great shot.
