Jim and I went to lunch at Famous Dave's this afternoon. I love their roasted chicken...and those corn muffins are to die for (I only ate 1/2 of mine!). After lunch, we stopped at Michael's and Fresh Market. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the desserts!

I took a Copic Marker class at Scrapadoodle last month. It is a series of 6 to build my marker collection. Cindy decided to join me this month. We invited some of the Chirpin' Chicks to meet us at 1:00 after our class to crop for a while. Vicky, Linda and Nikki came to scrap with us. It was a great day to spend with my friends. But I took way to much stuff to work on! I always do.
I started taking vitamin B recently. The doctor told my mom she should take vitamin B-12 and it would help with her memory. I figured it wouldn't hurt for me to take it, too. But I have also read about it helping with your energy level.
I bought a new coupon keeper yesterday at Staples. I lost my blue one that I had for several years, sometime before Christmas. I thought it might be in the bedroom and we would find it when we painted and organized everything. But it didn't show up, so I guess I must of left it somewhere or kicked it out of the car accidently.
I have been seeing these crocheted flowers on Pinterest recently. I bought some yarn and tried to make a few of them. I do not follow the directions very well and I get really fustrated with crocheting. There will be no more flowers made by me!

Happy Valentine's Day! I took a picture of all the Valentine's I got at school today. The students always bring me a Valentine...so I always have one ready to give back to them. This year, I bought Spiderman and Disney Princess cards to share with the students. We also got some treats...upper right hand corner, which I didn't eat....well, just a small piece of the mint meltaway...3 points!

Nate, Gram, Stacie, John, Jim and I went to lunch at Cracker Barrel today. (I don't know where John and Jim were when I took this pic?) It is always fun to visit with the kids. Everyone had a good meal and we went home and had a nice nap!
I didn't create any cards for the Chirpin' Chicks card swap this month. I did go to dinner with the girls on monday. Cindy brought the cards so I could photography them today! Our theme this month was birthday. I think the girls did an excellent job as always!
I have been taking pictures for our yearbook at school. I was in one of the kindergarten rooms, so we took all of the Letter People puppets and the students spelled out words and I took their pictures. The pics turned out really cute and the students had fun creating 3 letter words!
I got my order from Jillibean Soup today! I love all the paper and ribbon that this company sells. I took a class from the owner of this company a couple of years ago and have been a fan of her blog. She names all of her products after "soup"!
This is our new bathtub! I have been using it a lot in the past few weeks. We are still working on the bedroom and my muscles are sore from climbing the ladder and moving all of our "stuff". It feels good to get in the hot water and soak for a little while.
It's Friday! My favorite day of the week! Yes, I went to Subway for lunch. I usually go there every friday. During the month of December, I went to lunch at Subway everyday that I worked. The lounge at school was full of all kinds of treats and I just couldn't sit in there!
When our students lose a tooth, they get to put it in one of these little tooth boxes for the tooth fairy. We have used this type of box for many years. We can no longer find these little wooden boxes. This is the last 12 that we have!

This is the basket that I use to store my cards that are not complete. I have to add something to them before they can go in my card storage containers. Most of them need a sentiment on the inside. A few will need an envelope. I have plastic "sleeves" that I store them in until they are sent off in the mail.
I took a Copic Marker class on Saturday. I have wanted to start coloring images with Copic markers, but have put it off because I really didn't need another "technique" or project. As I suspected....I love the vibrant colors and want to color & shade everything. I spent a few minutes of my lunch today, coloring some flowers. It does take a little effort to get the shading right!
This is my desk area in my scrap cave for my cuttlebug and cricut. The laptop has my Design Studio Program on it right now. This is my old laptop and it doesn't always work right. So in the future, I will have to move my program to my new laptop and bring it to this area.
