On our way to see John in Chicago, we had to make a stop at IKEA.  I wish I could say that John was doing better, be he isn't.  Praying for John.

We have gone to Logan's Roadhouse since they opened their doors.  Tonight, I saw these posters and stopped dead in my tracks.  They have been on this wall by the restrooms and I have walked by them every time I have eaten at Logan's.  This was the first time I noticed that these posters were from Hatch Show Print, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Thursday at Raber's is Sizzler day.  We have been shopping the deal of the week since last year.  Peyton always goes with Rob to pick up another deal.

Peyton and I went shopping to use his gift certificates from us.  We went to Best Buy, Target and 5 Guys for lunch.  He made some very good choices with his money.

John went to the University of Chicago Medicine by helicopter this evening.  He has been in the ICU at OSF since Christmas night.  We are hoping for some answers from the doctors in Chicago.

I took down all of the decorations today.  I changed the pencil tree into an ocean tree.  I have been collecting ocean related ornaments for a few years.  There is a star fish at the top and a fish net at the bottom for the tree skirt.

I went to the Christmas party at Pekin Manor.  My mom was wearing reindeer ears and didn't even know it.  We had some treats and she opened a couple of presents.  I fell flat on my face on the way into the nursing home.  I will be sore for a few days, I am sure.

Our card swap Christmas potluck was tonight at Vicky's house.  We had a wonderful meal and exchanged a $10 gift.  We enjoyed talking, laughing and eating with our friends.

We had Grandparents Day at school today.  The students enjoy having their grandparents come to school to share a meal and visit their classroom.  The kitchen staff make these little tiny pumpkin pies for dessert.

The Riverfront Museum is hosting the Titanic exhibit with the opening this weekend.  The movie Titanic was shown in 3D twice this weekend.  Jim and I are wearing our 3D glasses for the movie.

In the kitchen at the Barn, there was a mishap with some rice.  We didn't really know what happened to the rice.  However, the rice we ate, was delicious!
