Day 271, Monday, September 28, 2015

This is the third batch of tomatoes we have picked from our two tomato plants.  Jim likes to cut them up, put seasoning salt on them and put them in the dehydrator.

Day 270, Sunday, September 27, 2015

The Art Fair was this weekend at the river front in Peoria.  Jim and I usually like to go to see all the awesome pieces of art.  They are way to expensive to buy, but it sure is fun to see them.

Day 269, Saturday, September 26, 2015

The 8th Annual McCormack Bag Invitational was today.  We enjoyed the food, but didn't play bags, as the last time I played, my bag had to be removed from the near by tree!

Day 268, Friday, September 25, 2015

I noticed these flowers blooming about two weeks ago.  I didn't plant them, but they just started growing out by the air conditioner.

Day 267, Thursday, September 24, 2015

My little Coco just loves to play fetch.  He will bring me a toy and push me to play with him.  He doesn't like to drop it.  He wants you to take it away from him.  He will run and get it and bring it back as many times as I will throw it.

Day 266, Wednesday, September 23, 2015

Early this morning, in many communities around the country, there was a "Meeting at the Pole".  We met at the flag pole to pray for our school, students and staff.  What a great way to start the day!

Day 265, Tuesday, September 22, 2015

Jim has been gone to North Carolina for a business trip.  He stayed at the Carolina Inn and his classes were held at the college in Chapel Hill.

Day 264, Monday, September 21, 2015

I have been doing a lot of scrapping.  These are the page protectors that I have emptied since June 13.  I usually try to put pictures, paper and embellishments together as I buy or print pictures and products.

Day 263, Sunday, September 20, 2015

Stacie recently started selling JamBerry nail wraps.  She put the clear white print on my ring finger.  I have been getting manicures since July.  My nails are so soft and break so easy.

Day 262, Saturday, September 19, 2015

Our card swap is the first Monday in October.  I did a Christmas card and think I may make a few more of these, too.

Day 261, Friday, September 18, 2015

Nate has pressed Marla's footprint at one month, 3 months and 6 months.  He better buy some more clay, he's going to need it for the next print!

Day 260, Thursday, September 17, 2015

I bought this painted mason jar at the Marigold Festival last weekend.  I had this grouping of flowers and they look good in the jar.

Day 259, Wednesday, September 16, 2015

Nate posted this picture of Brittany and Marla.  Marla is 6 months old and weighs 45 pounds.  She is going to be a big girl!

Day 258, Tuesday, September 15, 2015

I love my new chair.  I bought it from Wayfair, on line.  I was afraid it wasn't going to be in good shape as the box was all beat up when it got here.

Day 257, Monday, September 14, 2015

I went to visit my mom today.  When I got there she had just finished working a bunch of math worksheets.  She can't remember what day it is, or even the month, but she can do addition problems like nobody's business!

Day 256, Sunday, September 13, 2015

Stacie and I went to the Art in the Park at the Marigold Festival.  We got our usual lemon shake up and a bag of biscuit donuts!  Yummy!

Day 255, Saturday, September 12, 2015

I went to a crop at the VFW.  I bought a few raffle tickets and won this car detailing certificate.

Day 254, Friday, September 11, 2015

Our flag was half mast at school to remember the loss of life during the attack on the United States on September 11, 2001.

Day 253, Thursday, September 10, 2015

Trying to work out on the elliptical.  Sure makes my knee hurt!

Day 252, Wednesday, September 9, 2015

Happy Birthday, to my great niece Saige!  I can't believe she is 5 already.

Day 251, Tuesday, September 8, 2015

We got the second bookcase assembled and I added the remainder of my scrapbooks.  I love having them out where we can look at them.

Day 250, Monday, September 7, 2015

Happy Labor Day!

Day 249, Sunday, September 6, 2015

Every time I use my sponge daubers, I laugh out loud.  When I bought the case, the clerk had it filled with the daubers and it was marked $7.  When in fact, when it is full, it was $42!  Needless to say, she didn't sell it to me for the $7 full...it was empty for $7.

Day 248, Saturday, September 5, 2015

We went to Rob and Cyndi's for the annual fish fry.  There were a record number of people this year.  It was a good time, especially the fried Oreo's!!

Day 247, Friday, September 4, 2015

Well, this is the first official tomato from our two plants!

Day 246, Thursday, September 3, 2015

Cindy told me about the Therma cell.  We bought one to try.  Hope it keeps the bugs from biting me!

Day 245, Wednesday, September 2, 2015

There are so many tomatoes on these two plants.  These are just about ready to pick!

Day 244, Tuesday, September 1, 2015

Jim replaced our hot air balloon wind sock.  We had one several years ago, and it finally wore out.  This one is very colorful.

Day 243, Monday, August 31, 2015

I am behind on my Inspiration Wednesday, art journal pages.  When I watched this one, I knew it was going to be a snoopy page.  Love my Snoopy and Woodstock.

Day 242, Sunday, August 30, 2015

Jen and Aaron are getting married on October 3.  I went to their wedding shower this afternoon.  They got lots of great gifts!

Day 241, Saturday, August 29, 2015

Today was a very bad day for me.  I had to have a tooth pulled.  Unfortunately, the roots were through my sinus cavity.  I had to have extra work done and possibly might not be able to have an implant.  Jim took care of me by getting me a cherry slush float from Double D's.

Day 240, Friday, August 28, 2015

I bought this stuffed giraffe when we were at the Stoney Creek Inn, in Galena.  I wanted it because it has a flashlight in the paw.  He sits on my nightstand.

Day 239, Thursday, August 27, 2015

I found a similar art journal page using the stamp set Crazy Birds, by Tim Holtz.  There was only one bird on the layout and I knew I had to get all six of them on mine!  I know it is kinda strange, but I just love those birds!

Day 238, Wednesday, August 26, 2015

When I saw the new Simple Stories that will be available at the end of the month, I knew I was going to do a December Daily for the 3rd year in a row.

Day 237, Tuesday, August 25, 2015

Our Vet always does a post on Facebook called Fur Baby Friday.  Coco went to the groomer recently and they posted pictures from his groom visit!  I love Fur Baby Friday, because it is usually puppies!

Day 236, Monday, August 24, 2015

John, Stacie and Tom went to Chicago today to meet with the Doctor who specializes in Lymphoma.   John has been going through chemo treatments again and the recent scan showed more spots.  The doctor recommended another stem cell transplant using donor cells.

Day 235, Sunday, August 23, 2015

I found this art journal page on Pinterest or at least it was my inspiration.  The 76 is for the year we got married.

Day 234, Saturday, August 22, 2015

Cindy and I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Schamburg this morning.  We got to meet Becky Higgins who is the creator of Project Life 365.  We did some shopping at the Expo and then we went to IKEA, where we loaded our car with packages.  We ate dinner at Portillo's.  Awesome day!

Day 233, Friday, August 21, 2015

When I pulled into the driveway this afternoon, my odometer read 97,000.

Day 232, Thursday, August 20, 2015

This is the bulletin board we created in the main foyer at school.  Each grade level and all of the certified and support staff are pictured.

Day 231, Wednesday, August 19, 2015

Today is our first day of school.  The students came to school at 8:15 a.m.  I have been writing the messages on the sidewalk sign!

Day 230, Tuesday, August 18, 2015

Coco just wanted to say Hi to anyone who would listen, this morning!

Day 229, Monday, August 17, 2015

I ordered some washi tape from a group that I joined on Facebook.  I didn't order a huge amount, but I like what I got!

Day 228, Sunday, August 16, 2015

I completed this art journal page, today.  I did a very similar one in my friend, Lisa's circle journal.  I love working in my art journal and I am trying to complete a layout that uses the same idea as I have done in the other circle journals.
