Day 192, Sunday, July 11, 2021

Our lights have been flickering off and on a little.  This is just one more thing from the tree falling on our roof of our garage.  There was something broken and the Ameren guy got it fixed really quick!

Day 191, Saturday, July 10, 2021

I have been working all day long to update my blog.  I got to the last week in May and I couldn't do any more updates!  UGH!

Day 190, Friday, July 9, 2021

Our little 4 legged had to go to the vet to get his shots.  Because he weighs 16 pound, I will only let him get 1 at a time.  Last year, he had a reaction to the distemper, so he has to have pre-meds (Benadryl) before his shots.  He is saying, "Get me outta here!"

Day 189, Thursday, July 8, 2021

My ticket came out of the bucket for the 50/50 drawing this week.  $135.... I will take it!  And then, I split it with Jim.

Day 188, Wednesday, July 7, 2021

I bought new sneakers.  I have worn the current ones for about 18 months.  Thanks to Kohl's and their cash back!

Day 187, Tuesday, July 6, 2021

This is the last page in our Pennsylvania trip.  This is also one of the pages from my 6X6 class.  This also has a cut file I made on my silhouette.

Day 186, Monday, July 5, 2021

The tree removal team showed up first thing this morning.  They removed the tree from our garage and cleaned up the yard.  Serve-Pro came and put a tarp over the hole the tree made in our garage.  We have scheduled 2 estimates from contractors.  The insurance estimator is coming next week.

Day 185, Sunday, July 4, 2021

This actually happened on Friday, July 2.  Stacie took Evan and Elizabeth shopping for the fireworks.  Of course, they blew the budget, but they had so much fun and we did, too!

Day 184, Saturday, July 3, 2021

This was actually on Thursday, July 1.  Lisa was working at TTM.  I needed to make a trip to restock our purses for Totes, so she asked me to come spend the day with her.  Pam came to eat her lunch with us!

Day 183, Friday, July 2, 2021

Cindy and Eric met us at the Galley in East Peoria near the marina.  We hadn't been able get together for a really long time, thanks to COVID!

Day 182, Thursday, July 1, 2021

We had just finished eating our dinner at MCL and Jim got a call from our next door neighbor.  Her tree dropped another limb on our garage.  This time, the tree went through the roof and there is structural damage to the garage.  This tree has a disease and needs to be cut down.

Day 181, Wednesday, June 30, 2021

My walk into Parkside is never a disappointment!  Once again, the rain had collected on the petals of this pretty flower.

Day 180, Tuesday, June 29, 2021

Well, today I had an MRI on my shoulder.  I had 37 physical therapy appointments ending June 15. I still can't lift my arm above my head.  I can't do any external rotation, either.  I thought I was going to die in the open MRI...ugh!  So I got chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast!  We went to Costco, too.

Day 179, Monday, June 28, 2021

We went to Kroger for some groceries, like a lot of them.  I found Rainer Cherries!  I told Jim, "This are mine!" to about 5 bags of them!  Yes, I shared with him, but I didn't leave any in the store.

Day 178, Sunday, June 27, 2021

This is one of the shells I found in some of my dad's totes.  He picked this shell up out on a sandbar at Marco Island about 30 years ago.  He also has a whelk that is about a foot long.... but he kept that one!  I also got 3 Florida fighting conchs.  One for me and one for each of my kids.

Day 177, Saturday, June 26, 2021

I got a shipment!  Scrapbook.com had a free shipping code.  Shimelle activated her #BOBW shopping list early so we could take advantage of the free shipping!

Day 176, Friday, June 25, 2021

I have been helping my dad clean up some totes he still had at my brother's house.  This is an owl I painted for my mom in 1984.  It is a reverse glass painting, meaning I painted the outline first from the backside of the glass and continued to paint the layers.  My mom loved owls and collected them for many years.

Day 175, Thursday, June 24, 2021

I like this quote.  I always try to be positive, but sometimes life is really hard.

Day 174, Wednesday, June 23, 2021

I am still working on the trip from 2010.  This is our last stop, Indianapolis.  We are going to the Zoo in the morning.

Day 173, Tuesday, June 22, 2021

I am really late trimming the bushes this year.  Since I hurt my shoulder, I didn't think I could hold the trimmer.  I had to try and while it didn't feel great, it didn't hurt really bad.  I sucked it up and got it done!

Day 172, Monday, June 21, 2021

Elizabeth and I are going to try to make something similar for the Totes silent auction.  We will probably do the arrangement in fall colors since the event is in October.

Day 171, Sunday, June 20, 2021

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's.  Here are 4 of the best dad's with their kids!

Day 170, Saturday, June 19, 2021

We didn't have too much storm damage from the last 24 hours.  However, the Avanti's Dome collapsed sometime during the night.  There must be a rip in it somewhere.

Day 169, Friday, June 18, 2021

Today is Aly and Kirby's Wedding Anniversary.  They have a son named Jackson and are expecting their second child!  I am so proud and happy for them!

Day 168, Thursday, June 17, 2021

I was surprised to see my layout on the Scrapbook Generation Scrap Squad group page on Facebook!  This is one of the layouts I did from Vicki Boutin Color Study layout class.

Day 167, Wednesday, June 16, 2021

We got the shelving unit put together from our IKEA trip.  We moved all the scrapbooks you see in the background.  I am working on putting all the layouts I have currently done in page protectors and albums.  (layouts on table at the left).  I am also going to make new curtains for the windows.  Jim said we should have gotten another shelving unit while we were there, but I didn't think we had room.  I was wrong and he was right.

Day 166, Tuesday, June 15, 2021

This is another 6x6 layout from my current class.  Just because I am using newer photos to scrap, don't think I am caught up...That Pennsylvania trip I have been working on.... is from 2010!  LOL

Day 165, Monday, June 14, 2021

We bought the monthly car wash ticket from our new car wash in town.  For $24 a month we can get our car washed as many times as we want.

Day 164, Sunday, June 13, 2021

This is another layout for my 6x6 class.  I spread the layout across 2 pages again.

Day 163, Saturday, June 12, 2021

Lisa was dog sitting for her friend Malinda's dog Crosby.  She invited Kellee and I to come scrap with her for the day.  We also got to swim in the pool.  It was a fund day!

Day 162, Friday, June 11, 2021

We took Coco with us when we went to the Tremont Turkey Festival express line.  It really wasn't "express" because we were in line for over an hour.  Coco kept looking out both windows as we weaved in and out all over the parking lot in the car.  The turkey sandwiches were so good.  We got strawberry shortcake, too!

Day 161, Thursday, June 10, 2021

The Marine Corp League has started having their Thursday night raffle again.  We enjoy going to eat and participating in the raffle.  Tonight there was a beautiful sunset!

Day 160, Wednesday, June 9, 2021

I have been stopping to get a sweet tea from McDonald's before or after my physical therapy.

Day 159, Tuesday, June 8, 2021

I did this single page layout for my 6x6 single page class.

Day 158, Monday, June 7, 2021

We had our card swap tonight.  We met at Panera in East Peoria and ate outside.  We cut our get together short because it started to rain!

Day 157, Sunday, June 6, 2021

I asked Jim to get a picture of him and Evan at the ballgame today!

Day 156, Saturday, June 5, 2021

I think I have about 100 pictures of this boy in various positions.  I don't know how or why he gets all twisted up!  Love him!

Day 155, Friday, June 4, 2021

This is another layout from our Pennsylvania trip.  It smells like chocolate in this little town.

Day 154, Thursday, June 3, 2021

We went to IKEA to do some shopping.  We stopped at the new Wally's truck stop on our way.  This truck stop has been open since September 2020.  It is the biggest truck stop I have ever been to!

Day 153, Wednesday, June 2, 2021

This silly boy!  We moved his kennel from the rug and he couldn't find it.  He goes to rest in his kennel multiple times a day or when he thinks he might be in trouble, so he just laid on the rug!

Day 152, Tuesday, June 1, 2021

I have been fussy cutting flowers I stamped on inked backgrounds, so I thought I should do a bunch of leaves, too!

Day 151, Monday, May 31, 2021

My great niece Lily going to for a walk in her shades on Memorial Day!

Day 150, Sunday, May 30, 2021

This is the loft inside the Barn.  There are two "wagon wheels" that have dried flowers arrangements on them at each end of the loft.  I always get sinus issues from the dried flowers.

Day 149, Saturday, May 29, 2021

We had planned a little graduation party for Amy.  She didn't get to come out to the Barn because her back was out!  We had a cake and decorations.  We sent her this picture of her party and celebrated her graduation anyway!  We had Costco cake, so we had to eat it! LOL  We will do a party for her next time!

Day 148, Friday, May 28, 2021

We went to the Barn for a scrappy weekend.  This is a classroom size chalk board in the main room.  Sandy came over from the farm house and told us she is "officially" retiring from the bed and breakfast on December 1.  While we are sad we won't be able to go to the Barn after December, we are happy for her retirement....she is 82!  We do have two weekends booked, one in September and one in November.

Day 147, Thursday, May 27, 2021

We had a celebration at Martini's for those who retired during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years.  I got my apple award for 32 years of service!

Day 146, Wednesday, May 26, 2021

When we were in Orange Beach, my friend Amy taught me how to park correctly.  I think I am doing better! :)

Day 145, Tuesday, May 25, 2021

I am still working on our vacation to Pennsylvania so my 6x6 paper pad sketch is two pages again.  The left side looks like the single page sketch and I added the right side to complete my story.

Day 144, Monday, May 24, 2021

I have been going to ICPR for physical therapy 3 times a week since mid March.  There are beautiful flower beds of lavender in the front of the building.

Saturday, July 10, 2021

Day 143, Sunday, May 23, 2021

Jim brought some peonies home from his parents house.  They are such a bright shade of pink.  The closing on the house will be in the next few days.  He had managed to get a start from a couple of the flowers bushes in their yard, including the rose bush that was started in his grandma's house from her wedding bouquet.
