AJ Salmon came to fire up our students in the fund raiser we are supporting for St Jude. He asks the children to bring change to school, because the children at St Jude, need our help. If we work together, we can bring a lot of money to St Jude, just a $1.00 at a time.
I made some ground beef and ground sausage mix tonight for dinner. We made pizza with part of it and saved the rest for another meal. That tool is from Pampered Chef and I don't know how I have lived my life without that meat chopper!
John has been in the hospital in Chicago since January 6. Today he received a stem cell transplant from his mom, Cathy. Tomorrow he will receive a second bag of cells and cord blood to complete the transplant. The doctor told him, today is his re-birthday! John wants presents and cake next year.
These girls are some of my best scrappy friends. We went to a crop in Morton at the VFW. JenJo made some soup for us and we ate lunch at her house. It snowed most of the day and it took a really long time to drive home. I had a great time!

We are not very good at taking selfies! We went to East Peoria to do some shopping and stopped to take our pic in front of the Christmas Lights in the Levee District.
I stopped in the park this morning to add some ornaments to Baby Raegen's
We had a special visitor at school today. Santa came to visit the Pre-K students. We had him deliver candy canes to all the students. Our elf, Jovie, asked Santa to bring an Elf on the Shelf to Zoey. He was happy to make Zoey's heart believe!
Jim, Peyton and I went to the IMAX to see Christmas Vacation. We have seen it so many times, but never on the big screen. We went with Kellee, Lisa, Amy and some of their friends. Kellee, Lisa and I painted ornaments at Fired Up in the afternoon.
