Day 219, Sunday, August 7, 2022

This is the first time in 2 1/2 years that we had to take a Covid test at home.  I had to have one in April before I had surgery on my knee.

Day 218, Saturday, August 6, 2022

Kim and her boys ran in the St. Jude Pekin to Peoria satellite run. The 3 of them raised over $5,000.  The group raised $92,000 this year.  The total for this year was $10,450,000 and the grand total of all the St Jude Telethon's is $76 million!

Day 217, Thursday, August 5, 2022

Exactly!

Day 216, Thursday, August 4, 2022

Stacie and Kim worked at the Country Club tonight as guest bartenders.  They are working for a percentage of the food sales and tips.  The money will go to our Totes for Ta-Ta's event.  They made about $300 tonight!

Day 215, Wednesday, August 3, 2022

Coco went to a new groomer.  We hope to get his coat back in shape!  I don't like taking him to different people, but they are having a hard time finding someone at our usual Vet.

Day 214, Tuesday, August 2, 2022

We had our card swap tonight at Jason's Deli.  There were only 5 of us in attendance.  3 of the girls are on a vacation overseas.  They are traveling together with a big group and visiting several countries.  They gave their cards to Kim and she brought them to swap!

Day 213, Monday, August 1, 2022

We had to walk into Parkside from the other side of the building this morning.  These sunflowers are growing in one of the flower beds near the Arena parking lot!

Day 212, Sunday, July 31, 2022

Jim went shooting this morning with Scott.  He took this picture of a moth that landed on his chair while he was waiting for Scott to shoot.

Day 211, Saturday, July 30, 2022

These are the layouts I completed from the Spectrum Sherbet class that Vicki Boutin taught a few weeks ago.  I made the single pages into double pages.  I mostly use double pages, well because I take too many photos!

Day 210, Friday, July 29, 2022

I couldn't resist getting a close up picture of this hibiscus center.  You can see the pollen laying on the petal below it!

Day 209, Thursday, July 28, 2022

Oh, my!  This is so true!  I love to go to an art supply store, a craft store or a scrapbook store!  I always have a smile on my face!

Day 208, Wednesday, July 27, 2022

I worked on Lily's project from her YouTube video.  I messed up two sets of envelopes before I finally got them assembled correctly!  I love how this turned out with all the bright colors and butterflies!

Day 207, Tuesday, July 26, 2022

My dad is in the hospital in Oklahoma.  Joanie got to see him after he was transferred from Stillwater to Oklahoma City.  They both have Covid!

Day 206, Monday, July 25, 2022

The hydrangea bushes at Parkside are beginning to open up!  We enjoy our walk to exercise in the morning at Parkside!

Day 205, Sunday, July 24, 2022

I am watching videos that Vicki Boutin has for Sweet Rush.  This paper collection is so bright!  She does amazing things with her collections.  This event started on Friday, but I didn't start until today.  I like to be able to start and stop when I need to.

Day 204, Saturday, July 23, 2022

Jim and I went to the farmer's market in Peoria.  We had to pick up the veggie basket that Scott and Elaine get every week in the summer months.  This was definitely more veggies than we could eat in a week!  But we did our best!

Day 203, Friday, July 22, 2022

Jim and I went to Walgreens to get our 2nd booster for Covid.  We both have had 4 shots now.  I don't think this virus is ever going to leave us!

Day 202, Thursday, July 21, 2022

Krista and I went to Timeless Treasure Market to spend the day creating with Lisa.  The store was really busy today, so we didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with Lisa.  But it was still a good day!

Day 201, Wednesday, July 20, 2022

I don't remember this exact day.  I would have been 11 years old.  I do have the newspapers for the landing on the moon in one of my totes.  I will have to look at them soon!

Day 200, Tuesday, July 19, 2022

This is Surya my great nephew who lives in New York City.  He was not feeling well at daycare.  He was running a fever and was sent home.  He fell asleep on the floor.

Day 199, Monday, July 18, 2022

Scott and Elaine are babysitting with Lily this week.  Luke and Trisha are on a road trip with another couple.  Lily is just the cutest little girl.  It makes me happy to get pictures of her!

Day 198, Sunday, July 17, 2022

I found a new to me mixed media artist on YouTube.  Her name is Cat Hand and she does what she calls Mixed Media Morsels, Card Play.  She does a page every month using random prompts and alters a playing card to put in her album.

Day 197, Saturday, July 16, 2022

I had forgotten about the Fernwood Tag book that Vicki Boutin did on Facebook.  I was going through her videos and found this one.  I put it on my list to complete.  I worked on this mini album for a couple of days.  I love her mini albums.

Day 196, Friday, July 15, 2022

I have been doing a few Zendoodles a week.  I glued this scrapbook paper to my journal and drew on top of it.  I love the way it turned out!

Day 195, Thursday, July 14, 2022

This pink hibiscus is along the walkway to Parkside.  You can see another flower blooming behind this bush, too!

Day 194, Wednesday, July 13, 2022

I am doing a photo prompt with 31 things of summer.  One of the prompts was "On The Wall".  I saw this mural on Facebook, so we went downtown and and Jim took my photo!

Day 193, Tuesday, July 12, 2012

We stopped to pick up some cookies from the new store, Crumbl.  These cookies were about 4 inches in diameter!  They only bake 6 different cookies everyday.  They always have chocolate chip.

Day 192, Monday, July 11, 2022

As we walked into Parkside this morning, the lilies were blooming on this bush.  They were huge!

Day 191, Sunday, July 10, 2022

Jim and I went out to the sunflower field in Jubilee Park.  There are two different fields.  There were so many beautiful sunflowers.  We have gone in the early morning and also in the afternoon.  The heads of the flowers change direction and follow the sun as it rises into the sky and sets at night.

Day 190, Saturday, July 9, 2022

I found this beautiful hot pink flower when Lisa and I were walking around the square.  There were so many blooms on this plant.  I am sure it was flowering for weeks.

Day 189, Friday, July 8, 2022

This is Lily's project for this week using the Spectrum Sherbet kit.  This is made out of one sheet of paper.  It is such an amazing project and this paper I just LOVE!

Day 188, Thursday, July 7, 2022

I made this card to show Stacie.  She approved it!  So now I will make enough cards to go into the VIP bags for the Totes for Ta-Ta's event in October.

Day 187, Wednesday, July 6, 2022

We have one little pepper plant.  He is doing great!  Hope they taste good.

Day 186, Tuesday, July 5, 2022

The tomatoes are sure growing great.  We should be seeing some bright red skins, soon!

Day 185, Monday, July 4, 2022

Happy 4th of July!

Day 184, Sunday, July 3, 2022

We went to the Curless' for dinner and the annual 4th of July display.  Stacie always takes Evan and Elizabeth to buy fireworks.  It was quite the show this year!  We even had music and played the Star Spangled Banner before the show!

Day 183, Saturday, July 2, 2022

We are enjoying our monthly crop at Timeless Treasure Market.  It seems like all I do is scrapbook!  I don't know how I had time to work for all those years! LOL

Day 182, Friday, July 1, 2022

Coco likes to sit or lay down under my footrest of the recliner.  I usually have a blanket over my legs because they get cold with the air on. He likes to peek out from under the edge of my blanket, that he thinks is his.

Day 181, Thursday, June 30, 2022

Another Thursday with Lisa at Timeless Treasure Market!  I restocked our purses for Totes for Ta-Ta's.  We have sold 8 this month!

Day 180, Tuesday, June 28, 2022

Coco had to go to the Vet today for his shots.  He only gets one at a time, because he is so little.  He also had "senior" bloodwork drawn, too.  He came back from getting the bloodwork done and went straight to the exit door!

Day 179, Tuesday, June 28, 2022

I love these petunia's, but good grief, there is a lot of dead heading with these flowers.  I usually wear gloves because I don't like to touch the flowers.

Day 178, Monday, June 27, 2022

Oh my goodness!  This boy was at the backdoor just squealing because I went outside and he couldn't see me!  He is such a silly boy!

Day 177, Sunday, June 26, 2022

This is our great nephew Kai.  Andy is so good about sending cute photos of his boys.  They live in New York City and we don't get to see them very often.  It is hard to believe this guy will be in Kindergarten in the fall.

Day 176, Saturday, June 25, 2022

There was definitely a downpour this morning.  Our petunia's took a sad beating as did all the other plants.  But later, they were all happy again!

Day 175, Friday, June 24, 2022

I am doing a "Week In The Life" project like Ali Edwards does.  Lisa inspired me to document this week using the Spectrum Sherbet collection.  Since gas is so high right now, I thought that was a good thing to add to my photos during this week.

Day 174, Thursday, June 23, 2022

I spent the day with Lisa at Timeless Treasure Market!  She enjoys working on Thursday's.  I like to hang out with her and visit with the customers and vendors when they come in, too.

Day 173, Wednesday, June 22, 2022

I finally found somewhere to re-cycle our mini fridge.  It quit working and Jim set it out for the garbage.  Someone took the door, but not the rest of it.  You can see it on the left of the photo.

Day 172, Tuesday, June 21, 2022

I watched Lily's weekly YouTube video and made her card project this afternoon.  I am loving the Spectrum Sherbet paper from 49th and Market!

Day 171, Monday, June 20, 2022

I am trying a new bread.  I have been watching my gluten intake and bread is the hardest thing to do without. I have been trying different brands of gluten free bread.  This one is from Aldi and I like it the best so far.  Since most of the packages of gluten free bread are frozen and at $6 a loaf, I am able to have a sandwich every once in a while.

Day 170, Sunday, June 19, 2022

Today is Happy Father's Day!  Jim is certainly one of the best father's ever!  Stacie posted these pictures of her dad on Facebook.
