Day 233, Thursday, August 20, 2020

I used a sketch from my 6x6 class and some pictures from Cape Elizabeth.

Day 232, Wednesday, August 19, 2020

This year has been something no one expected.  I have a COVID mini album where I am putting this type of information!

Day 231, Tuesday, August 18, 2020

I have been working really hard on the Boston/Portland trip.  I got behind on my sketches for the 6x6 class.  I used this sketch today from Mike's Pastry in Boston.

Day 230, Monday, August 17, 2020

Lisa and I worked on ink blending techniques.  She is teaching a class this month.  We had so much fun and had some really inky hands when we were done!

Day 229, Sunday, August 16, 2020

My friend, Lisa always posts a daily dose of flowers on Facebook!

Day 228, Saturday, August 15, 2020

I was excited to see the dome shaped foam blending tool will fit on the handles that I already had.

Day 227, Friday, August 14, 2020

We like to have popcorn as a snack in the evening.  There is a little 4 legged fur baby who thinks the treat is for him!  Jim always leaves a little in his puppy bowl upstairs.  After this bowl is empty, we say "All done!" and he runs upstairs to get the popcorn in his bowl.

Day 226, Thursday, August 13, 2020

Another happy day for Jim!  Kona Ice drive-thru!

Day 225, Wednesday, August 12, 2020

On our trip to Boston, we took the behind the scenes tour of Fenway Park.  I just had to add stitching to this page because of the stitches on the baseballs!

Day 224, Tuesday, August 11, 2020

Jim and his siblings have been cleaning out his parents house to get ready to sell it.  My friend came over and went through the books to find some she could use in her junk journaling.

Day 223, Monday, August 10, 2020

I bought some new containers and added wheels to them.  It is getting harder for me to lift those tubs of scrapbook paper!

Day 222, Sunday, August 9, 2020

We had a Totes meeting this afternoon.  We are keeping it simple and marking the bargain bin purses in $5 increments.

Day 221, Saturday, August 8, 2020

It is hard to believe that I started working at school 32 years ago.  I didn't expect to stay in that job for the rest of my working life.  But in the end, it was the best thing for me.

Day 220, Friday, August 7, 2020

I didn't have ANY of the pictures from our San Diego trip organized!  It took me a couple of days, but I got them in a album and ready to scrap!

Day 219, Thursday, August 6, 2020

We went to get groceries this morning.  Jim is coring and slicing up the pineapple for me.

Day 218, Wednesday, August 5, 2020

I have been organizing my vacation photos.  I am so far behind!

Day 217, Tuesday, August 4, 2020

I had to go to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned.  I do not like going to the dentist for any reason, but I always go and get them cleaned every 6 months.

Day 216, Monday, August 3, 2020

I skipped over this sketch in my 6x6 class, because there were so many small photos.  I have been working on our Boston trip from 2014.  I found all of these different behaviors from the whale watch cruise and they made perfect 3x3 squares!  This was such an amazing experience and I am so happy to have this layout completed in my scrapbook!

Day 215, Sunday, August 2, 2020

Jim and I went to the Riverfront Museum to walk along the Sculpture Walk.  There were a few new sculptures we hadn't seen.  We had also planned to go out to Jubilee Park to the sunflower field.  However, there was a post on Facebook saying the sunflowers were past their prime.  So we didn't go, but found some sunflowers at the museum.

Day 214, Saturday, August 1, 2020

We planted Yukon Gold potatoes on June 8.  I saw there were a few poking through the soil.  I dug one up!  I am so excited to see there are potatoes in this pot!

Sunday, August 23, 2020

Day 213, Friday, July 31, 2020

Lisa and Kellee had to cancel their trip to the beach because of COVID.  We went on a road trip to Daisy Lane, Arthur and Arcola.  It was a spontaneous, quick and fun trip.

Day 212, Thursday, July 30, 2020

Lisa and Kellee came to visit and scrapbook, today.  We ate lunch at West Dublin and spent the rest of the day working on our projects.

Day 211, Wednesday, July 29, 2020

We have ordered BBQ sauces to donate to the Johnny Mac Golf Palooza and the Totes for Ta-Ta's baskets.

Day 210, Tuesday, July 28, 2020

The tomatoes have finally started producing fruit.

Day 209, Monday, July 27, 2020

Yep!  This is how I feel, too!

Day 208, Sunday, July 26, 2020

Jim smoked some Gouda cheese.  It smells good, but I don't know... he says it has to be refrigerated for two weeks before you can eat it.

Day 207, Saturday, July 25, 2020

Oh good grief!  I am organizing my Boston/Portland trip from 2014!

Day 206, Friday, July 24, 2020

I got two shipments today!

Day 205, Thursday, July 23, 2020

I spent about 4 hours today looking for a single sheet of paper that has chocolate chips on it.  I did find it, but not in this cube.  I might have touched every piece of paper in this 14 inch cube.  Bright side, all of this paper is organized.

Day 204, Wednesday, July 22, 2020

Today, Stacie and Cate took balloons to celebrate John's 45th birthday, to the cemetery.  Happy Birthday, John!  We love you and miss you!

Day 203, Tuesday, July 21, 2020

My daughter thinks she is hilarious!

Day 202, Monday, July 20, 2020

I couldn't walk past this flower bush without taking a couple of photos!

Day 201, Sunday, July 19, 2020

I hope we get out of this virus quarantine before December, but I doubt it.

Day 200, Saturday, July 18, 2020

We have supported St Jude and St Jude runners for many years.  This year was different because of the virus.  The event was cancelled at the Civic Center, so the runners just ran around town, staying 6 feet apart.  They still raised a lot of money for St Jude.

Day 199, Friday, July 17, 2020

We got some pictures of our great nephews who live in New York.

Day 198, Thursday, July 16, 2020

While at Navuoo, I worked on a 4 page layout kit for the Grand Canyon trip we went on in 2015.  I came home and pulled out the container with the photos, paper and embellishments.  I started working on this trip and decided to put all of our trips into page protectors and albums so I could get to work on them.

Day 197, Wednesday, July 15, 2020

Well, this wasn't good news!

Day 196, Tuesday, July 14, 2020

Cindy and I went to the Paper Forest this morning.  We had used some paper at Navuoo and wanted to see if we could find more.  I love the rainbow paper wall at the Paper Forest.

Day 195, Monday, July 13, 2020

It is Monday, so there is a new sketch!  We trimmed these papers down to be able to fix 6 different patterns on one layout.

Day 194, Sunday, July 12, 2020

We had to have a group picture with Peggy.  She has organized the Navuoo crop for 10 years.  The hotel is more than likely closing and this may be the last crop at Navuoo.  It was a great weekend for us.

Day 193, Saturday, July 11, 2020

Cindy and I went for a drive this morning down the banks of the Mississippi River.  We saw the lily pads and that boat in-between us.  I must of taken 25 photos before we got this one!

Day 192, Friday, July 10, 2020

Lisa, Kellee, Cindy and I went to Navuoo to scrapbook for the weekend.

Day 191, Thursday, July 9, 2020

My answer would be ... all of the projects and all projects to come until time ends.

Day 190, Wednesday, July 8, 2020

I have been creating art journal pages following Vicki Boutin and her techniques!  I love all this inky goodness!

Day 189, Tuesday, July 7, 2020

I'm not sure how he gets himself into these positions, but I think he has adjusted to our retirement and the pandemic.

Day 188, Monday, June 6, 2020

I am enjoying this 6x6 class.  Today, I used the sketch to scrap these birthday pictures of Cindy!

Day 187, Sunday, July 5, 2020

Scott and Elaine went to Iowa to see Luke, Trisha and Lily.  Who am I kidding, they went to see Lily!

Day 186, Saturday, July 4, 2020

Happy 4th of July!

Day 185, Friday, July 3, 2020

Stacie, Lynn and Lizzy found some great bags for Totes for Ta-Ta's!!

Day 184, Thursday, July 2, 2020

I have had this photo in my box to scrapbook but never found the right paper or sketch.  I decided to make my own mixed media paper for this photo of Cody and Jordan.
