We ate lunch at Flat Top Grill. I had my birthday "free stir-fry". I had forgotten about it, but Jim remembered! It expired tomorrow. I did not eat with the chopsticks. But maybe I should, as I know I wouldn't get much food in my mouth! Anyway, my stir-fry was awesome and I have enough left for lunch tomorrow!

Day 321, Friday, November 16, 2012
We went to the hockey game tonight. We sat in section 4 tonight. We have been sitting in 5A. I walked for 30 minutes before the game started as we were there early tonight.
Day 320, Thursday, November 15, 2012
The Pre-Kindergarten students made a Thanksgiving snack. Each child brought their favorite snack to school. Each one took a turn emptying their baggie into the mixture. The teacher stirred it all up and filled their baggie with the mix. It was fun to watch them create this mix for their snack!
Day 319, Wednesday, November 14, 2012
Happy Birthday, Cindy! I had to get her this cupcake for her birthday. It was green, which is her favorite color and it had a candy snowman on top of it. I hope she enjoyed it and her birthday!
Day 318, Tuesday, November 13, 2012
I mailed my Thanksgiving cards tonight after work. I don't do as many as I make for Christmas, but these were very labor intensive!
Day 317, Monday, November 12, 2012
Our Weight Watchers meeting has moved to a new location. For as long as I can remember, the meetings were held at the church. Last week was the first meeting at the mall. It is a very nice store, but it sure seems small compared to our other meeting room.

Day 316, Sunday, November 11, 2012
I worked on a "special order" card for Stacie. How fitting that I would make a card with a flag in the shape of the United States on Veteran's Day. I think she liked it when she picked it up this afternoon.
Day 315, Saturday, November 10, 2012
We went to the hockey game tonight. We bought the only seats that were available in our "usual" section. Seat 1 & 2 are the seats that Cindy and Eric normally sit in. We kept them warm for them tonight!
Day 314, Friday, November 9, 2012
Our students had a Veteran's Day assembly this afternoon. The Pre-Kindergarten students cut the shape of their hand from blue construction paper. Kindergarten, First and Second graders used red construction paper. After the morning Pre-K add their handprints on Monday, we will hang the finished flag in our gym.
Day 313, Thursday, November 8, 2012
I made salad's for dinner tonight. Jim was playing tennis with Byron. I often make chef salad's for us on tennis nights.
Day 312, Wednesday, November 7, 2012
Happy Birthday, Nate! I can't believe he is 31 years old today. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner tonight. Yes, I counted my points and stayed on track!!
Day 310, Monday, November 5, 2012
We had our Chirpin' Chicks card swap tonight at Avanti's. I am feeding my friend Ericka's sweet little babygirl! She is such a happy little thing! Our cards were Christmas this month. Next month is our Christmas party, gift exchange and cookie swap.
Day 309, Sunday, November 4, 2012
I guess I have never noticed the greenery that is growing through our lattice, as the colors change. This year it seems to be so orange.

Day 307, Friday, November 2, 2012
I stepped outside this morning to see the moon peeking through the trees. I keep trying to take pictures "in the dark" using the manual mode on my camera. This was the best shot.
Day 306, Thursday, November 1, 2012
Yesterday, at school, our students had their PBIS celebration. The theme was "Under The Big Top". Cindy and I were in charge of the photo booth. We made hats, noses and mouths on a stick and a large picture frame as props. I dressed up as a clown and we had fun taking the kids pictures. Now I have to sort through them and get them printed!
Day 305, Wednesday, October 31, 2012
Happy Halloween! I got a new statue on my front porch. A Gargoyle. No not really, it is Peyton. He has wanted to be a gargoyle since last Halloween. I think he was happy with the costume...at least I hope he was!
Day 303, Monday, October 29, 2012
I have been struggling since July, trying to lose the same 3-4 pounds. Up and down until I feel sick before I weigh on monday nights. I changed the amount of protein I have been eating from 3 ounces a day, to 6 ounces a day. I lost 2 pounds this week! 2 pounds doesn't seem like much...but when you compare it to butter, well that's alot of butter!
Day 302, Sunday, October 28, 2012
The "Halloween House" on our street is shaping up! The owners work the entire month of October to get their yard ready for Halloween night.
Day 301, Saturday, October 27, 2012
Today is my 55th birthday. It was a very busy day! I went to the Women's Lifestyle Show with Stacie. We met John for lunch at Qdoba and used my birthday coupon. We ended the day at the spa, getting a pedi! Cindy and I went to school to participate in the Trunk or Treat. We handed out candy to a whole bunch of kids and it was really cold! Jim and I went to dinner at Alexander's Street Steakhouse! Yummy!
Day 300, Friday, October 26, 2012
We had our Halloween parade and parties at school today. Cindy brought my birthday present to me and I was thrilled with all the prizes inside! Lots of scrappin' supplies! Loved the birthday card and the purple & green!
Day 299, Thursday, October 25, 2012
I have driven by these insulators everyday for a couple of weeks. I finally took a picture of them. They are going to replace some on the towers on Route 29 near Auto Row.
Day 298, Wednesday, October 24, 2012
I stopped and took a few pictures of the "turkey vultures" in the trees near school. I don't think they are really vultures, but they are really big birds who fly around and around and around!
Day 297, Tuesday, October 23, 2012
I started some Thanksgiving cards the other day. I wanted to try the embossing paste. Well, one thing led to another and I tried every stencil I owed! I kept trying until I got the right thickness. I hope to make some other cards out of the flowers.
Day 296, Monday, October 22, 2012
This little cutie belongs to Pat and Jamie. His name is Paxton and he will be 1 at the end of November. Pat is our new P.E. teacher at school. He is a happy little guy!
Day 295, Sunday, October 21, 2012
Last night and today, I worked on Peyton's Halloween costume. He wants to be a gargoyle! He has said this to me since last Halloween. I constructed the feet out of an old pair of his shoes and fun foam. I sprayed the feet and gloves with "stone" spray paint. I can wait to see what he thinks!
Day 294, Saturday, October 20, 2012
Jim and I went to Toys R Us tonight. I found gift certificates at school the other day, that had been long forgotten...like since 1997! LOL They accepted the old Geoffrey Bucks... $175.00. I bought prizes for the birthday basket and our postive behavior program. I had to pay 47 cents.
Day 293, Friday, October 19, 2012
We finally have some green grass (as well as a few leaves) growing in the spot in the yard where the tree used to be!
