Coco is sitting in the doorway, chewing his "gum". He likes to look out the door while we are reading the Sunday paper. He will bite off a piece of his chew toy and chew it like gum. He spits it out, picks it up and chews it again and again.

Day 19, Saturday, January 19, 2013
This is one of my least favorite jobs. I had to sew buttons on 8 of Jim's dress shirts today. He always seems to break the collar buttons off. All but one of these shirts, I had already replaced the collar buttons once and had to "find" new buttons for them.
Day 18, Friday, January 18, 2013
This is the second puzzle in a series of four 500 piece puzzles that I bought at Menard's after Christmas. "Who would buy a 1000 piece puzzle?" It is almost finished. 500 piece puzzles are much faster to work!
Day 15, Tuesday, January 15, 2013
I started a 500 piece puzzle the other day. "Who would buy a 1000 piece puzzle?" LOL Anyway, this one was of some sweet treats...and Mr. Coco seems to have gotten himself a little piece of this puzzle!
Day 14, Monday, January 14, 2013
I went to Wal-Mart to buy ipad's for school. I bought 5 of them and defender cases to help protect them. It was fun to spend someone else's money for a change!
Day 13, Sunday, January 13, 2013
We went on an Eagle hunt along the Illinois River this morning. We ate lunch at Logan's and continued up the river toward Peoria Heights. We stopped at the Forest Park Nature Center to see if they had any information about the eagles. We will look again another day as we didn't see any eagles today.
Day 12, Saturday, January 12, 2013
Jim, Stacie and I left for Ikea this morning at 7:30 a.m. We were shopping for blinds for our living room. We saw them in July when we were there, but didn't have the correct measurements. Needless to say, we found ALOT more than the blinds. We ate lunch at Potbelly and were home by 3:45 p.m.
Day 11, Friday, January 11, 2013
I finished a bunch of layouts during Christmas break. Some of them are Christmas 2002. No, that isn't a typo...I really did 2002 just this year!
Day 10, Thursday, January 10, 2013
I delivered the popcorn to the classrooms who brought in the most box tops and soup labels for November and December. The students love to get a treat!
Day 9, Wednesday, January 9, 2013
"Why would anyone buy a 1000 piece puzzle?" I have asked myself that question many times in the past 9 days!
Day 8, Tuesday, January 8, 2013
I got my project 365 prints in the mail. I am so happy to have 2012 completely finished and in my binder. This was my fourth year of taking a picture a day and journaling about it.
Day 7, Monday, January 7, 2013
Tonight, this is all I have energy to do. I went back to work today, haircut, Weight Watchers, body pump and 20 minutes on the elliptical. Yes, me and my ipad is all that is happening!
Day 6, Sunday, January 6, 2013
We ate lunch at Applebee's. Jim found a gift card that he bought in 2008. I don't know what made him think of it, but I sure enjoyed having lunch with him today!
Day 5, Saturday, January 5, 2013
I was happy to see it snowing this morning. I wanted to use my macro lens on my iphone to get a picture of a snowflake. I love this one!
Day 3, Thursday, January 3, 2013
I went to eat lunch at McCalister's. It is right by Scrapadoodle and I was spending my gift certificate. We like to eat there and Jim loves those dill pickle spears. I had to send him a picture of that lonely pickle on my plate that wasn't going to get eaten!
Day 2, Wednesday, January 2, 2013
I started a puzzle today. It is 1000 pieces. Peyton came over this afternoon and we started the outside edges. The entire time we were working on the puzzle he kept saying, "why would anyone buy a 1000 piece puzzle?" Made me laugh!
Day 366, Monday, December 31, 2012
We went to the Rivermen hockey game tonight as we do very often with our friends, Cindy and Eric. After the game we went back to their house and played a few games of marbles. We had some awesome goodies to eat and fun with our friends until midnight, at which time, we came home. We are not party animals!
Day 365, Sunday, December 30, 2012
One of the gifts I got for Christmas was a lens to put on my iphone. It has a wide angle, macro and fish eye lens. This is my Coco using the fish eye.
Day 364, Saturday, December 29, 2012
We went to Kohl's on friday night and again today. We bought all kinds of things on clearance and I had a 20% off coupon. Our receipt printed the value at $1,424.99 and we paid $486.75. Not a bad day shopping, I would say!
Day 363, Friday, December 28, 2012
Jim bought me a Fitbit for Christmas. I registered on line and started wearing it. I should be walking 10,000 steps a day!
Day 362, Thursday, December 27, 2012
I invited Stacie and Trisha over today to make this calendar project. We saw it on pinterest and thought it would be fun. You can see there are index cards divided into months. We stamped the month and day on the top right corner of each card. On each line, you write the year and something that happened during the day. After 10 years it will be fun to see what happened on that day for ten years back. It was fun to spend the day with the girls!
Day 361, Wednesday, December 26, 2012
I took the Christmas decorations down today after I went to the gym. I took pictures of some of my favorite ornaments and hope to make a little mini book one day. This ornament is one of the Roland Johnson designs that I have been getting since 1995.
Day 360, Tuesday, December 25, 2012
Merry Christmas to you! Here is our family. Love you all! We start the morning off with opening gifts with my side of the family. We then have our traditional Christmas Breakfast, ham, egg and cheese croissants. After breakfast, we open our stockings which usually have lots of little goodies in them. But the most favorite is the Lottery tickets! John was the big winner this year. He thought they were fake tickets all the way until the cashier gave him the money!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Vacation! Jim got a certificate for the Jelly of the Month Club! "Clark, it's the gift that keeps on givin' the whole year!"
