I love all the different shades of green in this plant. I don't know what kind of greenery it is, but he comes back every year and it spreads. It helps cover the nightmare our neighbors created in our back yard!

Day 178, Thursday, June 27, 2013
Here is Mr. Trouble, himself! I know he is very cute, however, that green toy is laying there on the sofa beside me. He is giving me that look! If I make the slightest move, he will grab that toy and run!
Day 177, Wednesday, June 26, 2013
I worked on these layouts from the Embellish It! kit club. I really enjoy completely the layouts that are in the packet every month. I hope to get pictures and journaling done soon!

Day 176, Tuesday, June 25, 2013
Peyton and I went to see Monsters U! It was a fun movie. I used the $10 reward on our Stub's card and I had a gift card from secretary's week...so the movie and the popcorn were free!
Day 175, Monday, June 24, 2013
The cars from the Great Race stopped in Peoria on the river front this afternoon from 12-2:30. I went to see some of them, there are 99 different cars and drivers participating in the event this year. They begin at St Paul, Minnesota and end their journey in Louisiana. This was my favorite car...and to think...none of them had air conditioning!
Day 174, Sunday, June 23, 2013
I took my Zentangle sketchbook to St Louis with me. I finished this drawing tonight. I found this on pinterest and didn't really change too much of the design. I only had to look up one tangle as I couldn't remember how it started.
Day 173, Saturday, June 22, 2013
We went to the St Louis Zoo, this morning. It has been at least 25 years ago that we took the kids there. The Zoo has changed a lot since then. Jim took my picture in front of the giraffe's. It is on my bucket list to feed a giraffe!
Day 172, Friday, June 21, 2013
We drove to St Louis today to see our nephew Andy get married to Preeti. We couldn't be happier for them. Congratulations to Andy and Preeti!
Day 172, Thursday, June 20, 2013
Peyton and I got to go out to the CAT hanger and see the private planes. Stacie is working there now and we thought he would like to see the planes. This is a 2012 14 passenger plane. It is really nice inside. Peyton was impressed because there are ipods in this plane.
Day 170, Wednesday, June 19, 2013
Nikki and I have been walking in the mornings since I got done working. I took this picture of my shadow and Coco. It looks like my shadow is walking him!
Day 169, Tuesday, June 18, 2013
Last Sunday, a rock chipped my windshield. This man stopped by my house today and replaced the window while my car was in the driveway. Took him about 1/2 hour and he was gone.
Day 168, Monday, June 17, 2013
I started organizing my photos for the past 18 months or so. I have fallen so far behind printing and scrapbooking them. I have about 1,800 to print. It will take me a while to get them all printed, but the end result will be great! I have burned all of the files to my external hard drive through today!
Day 167, Sunday, June 16, 2013
I made this card for Jim for Father's Day! We invited my parents over for burgers for dinner tonight.
Day 166, Saturday, June 15, 2013
John, Jim, Stacie and Nate in front of Cracker Barrel! Love these guys so much, but sometimes they are silly and today was one of those days! We met today for Father's Day, since John and Stacie are going to St. Louis tomorrow for a few days.
Day 165, Friday, June 14, 2013
Happy Flag Day! Jim put this new flag out recently. It is a little too big and we can't figure out how to keep it "flying" instead of laying on the mailbox. Today is my first day of summer vacation! 6 weeks off!
Day 164, Thursday, June 13, 2013
When I got home from work, I made Coco a new toy. He has been chewing on his fleece blanket, so I took a tennis ball and wrapped it up in a scrap of leftover fleece, tied a knot and cut the ends into fringe. It looks like an octopus and he loves to chew on it.
Day 163, Wednesday, June 12, 2013
When Jim got the newspaper this morning, there were red rose petals on our front step. We think the birds may have carried them over here from our neighbors roses.
Day 162, Tuesday, June 11, 2013
My Day Lilies are finally blooming. They were later than usual and I was getting worried! But they showed their beautiful yellow faces!
Day 161, Monday, June 10, 2013
This is a pile of snowmen that I stamped for some Christmas cards I am working on. Our swap for November is holiday cards. I have been getting all of my cards done for the rest of the year, so when I start summer vacation, I can scrapbook for 6 whole weeks!
Day 160, Sunday, June 9, 2013
Coco has destroyed all of his toys. We bought a few last night when we went to the new Target store. I went to Pet Supply Plus to get the Kong's and Bone's. He really likes all the new toys to chew/play with.
Day 159, Saturday, June 8, 2013
Jim and I ate dinner at the Burger Barge. I have been there many times to eat lunch, however, not really recently. They do have awesome burgers and fries, but they are not weight watcher friendly. I got the mini moo, which is a very small burger. And to think, I would normally eat a full size burger and an order of fries! Jim liked his burger and would like to go there again sometime. Maybe when they open the new place...not on the river front!
Day 158, Friday, June 7, 2013
Coco and I went for a walk at Coal Miner's Park this afternoon. There is a foot bridge that crosses the creek at the beginning of the trail. We walked 1.7 miles. I am sure he walked farther, because he walks from one side of the path to the other. Never in a straight line!

Day 157, Thursday, June 6, 2013
Nikki called me! Our order came in...I got 4 different stamp and punch bundles. They were 15% off and Nikki gave us a 20% discount and free shipping and handling...couldn't pass up that deal! Now I just have to get busy making some cards!
Day 156, Wednesday, June 5, 2013
Dara, Cindy and I posed for this picture. We are going to use it in a gift for our boss who is leaving our school. We wanted him to remember his "ladies" in the office!
Day 155, Tuesday, June 4, 2013
I went to a card class tonight. We made 6 cards with some of the new products from Stampin' Up! Nikki said our order should be in on Wednesday!
Day 154, Monday, June 3, 2013
I had to go to the Ortho doctor and had xrays on my right knee. I have had lots of pain in this knee for many years. I guess I will have some injections to the joint...and eventually, a total knee replacement.
Day 153, Sunday, June 2, 2013
Joe's Crab Shack! for lunch...it was awesome! Crab legs, shrimp, potatoes and corn on the cob. After lunch, we walked to the new Riverfront Museum to view the black and white photos that were taken by Ansel Adams, during his photography career. Amazing photos, he was very talented.
Day 152, Saturday, June 13, 2013
Nikki had an open house today for the Stampin' Up! new catalog. We got to see some of the new products and play with the new items. Nikki does such an awesome job of inspiring us to create great cards and projects! Can't wait to get my order!
Day 151, Friday, May 31, 2013
The truck arrived today with the rubber mulch for our playground. There were 22 bags of rubber mulch each weighing 2,000 pounds. The city loaned us a backhoe and operator to get the pallets off the truck. He also hauled the bags over to the swings and playground equipment and dumped the mulch out of the bags for us.
Day 150, Thursday, May 30, 2013
We celebrated the retirement of several of our fellow employees. Cindy Bridges, Kathleen Wright and Deane Flynn all retired at the end of this school year. We had dinner at Mashi's and danced until 11:30 when the band retired! Thanks, Kathleen for hiring the band for the evening. Wishing them rest and relaxation in their retirement!
