We ate lunch at Jersey Mike's Subs. It was pretty good. I had a "sub in a tub" the last time we were here. Their wheat bread is really good!

Day 285, Saturday, October 12, 2013
Coco got a new Halloween stuffed toy. He has been carrying it around all day. I tried to get his photo with the toy in his mouth, but every time I pushed the button, he dropped it. He always sticks his nose through the gate, too!
Day 283, Wednesday, October 10, 2013
Cindy and I got "booed" today. This has been going around our school the past week. We loved our bags and all the goodies inside!
Day 282, Wednesday, October 9, 2013
After Jim got the front step repainted, he started putting up the Halloween decorations. This is my favorite Jack-o-lantern.
Day 281, Tuesday, October 8, 2013
I recently received my Origami Owl charms. I bought these to put in my living locket during hockey season, well except for the "N". I needed that one for Nate!
Day 280, Monday, October 7, 2013
Today was the first day of my new class from On Line Card Classes. Tim Holtz is hosting another Creative Chemistry class. He has such a gift with stamps and ink. It is such great inspiration.
Day 279, Sunday, October 6, 2013
Aunt Mary came to visit this weekend. She always comes to see us during the first weekend of October. Love you, Aunt Mary!
Day 278, Saturday, October 5, 2013
I got my Stamps Of Life, Ticket2Stamp set today. When I took the stamps off the plastic card, these two were still hooked together and it ripped. I sent this picture to them and they are going to replace it for me!
Day 277, Friday, October 4, 2013
Jim bought this mum at Costco. It had a whole bunch of blooms on it, but none of them were open. I think it is as full as it is going to get!
Day 276, Thursday, October 3, 2013
I barely got home tonight from the store and got the groceries carried in and the storm began! It wasn't raining when I took this picture, but it sure came a down pour right after this.
Day 275, Wednesday, October 2, 2013
Coco and I went on our normal morning walk with Nikki. When we got home there was a bird egg on our driveway. I didn't think birds laid eggs in the fall.
Day 273, Monday, September 30, 2013
I opened my window at school today and this praying mantis was on my screen. It was inside between the screen and glass. I don't know how he got in there, but I took his picture before I helped him escape!
Day 272, Sunday, September 29, 2013
Coal Miner's Park has become one of my favorite places to walk. My time there always seems to go by really fast. Lots of scenery and friendly faces walking or riding bikes. There are football and soccer fields in different areas, too. It is always about 10 degrees cooler back in the paths.
Day 271, Saturday, September 28, 2013
The 7th Annual McCormack Bags Tournament Invitational started at noon. Stacie and John have a party every year. This year, John cooked the pulled pork and Rob Oliver cooked the brisket. It was yummy!
Day 270, Friday, September 27, 2013
This is our new flag at school. We requested a flag from our Congressman Aaron Schock. This flag was flown over the National Capitol on September 11, 2013. Today it was flown over our school.

Day 268, Wednesday, September 25, 2013
At 7:45 a.m., we had a "meeting at the pole". Rachel and Janeie led us in prayer to begin the morning. We really should do this more often.
Day 265, Sunday, September 22, 2013
I spent the majority of this weekend working on scrapbook pages. Most of the pages were Peyton pages!
Day 262, Thursday, September 19, 2013
Last night there was a Harvest Moon. This morning, when I went for my walk, the moon was slowing sinking on the horizon. Nikki and I just stood in the middle of the street and watched it!
