Nate and I went to Joe's Crab Shack for lunch. He got a steampot. It took him 1 1/2 hours to eat all of his food. There was a lot of crab legs. He cleaned them up! Then we went bowling at the Fish Bowl at Bass Pro. I haven't bowled in about 20 years. It was a fun day with my son!

Day 25, Saturday, January 25, 2014
I had lunch with Nate, Stacie and John. Nate and I went shopping. I have been wanting to take a picture of the canoes at Bushwhacker's. All the different colors and today there was snow on the ground.
Day 21, Tuesday, January 21, 2014
Nate got a new hoodie. I almost bought it for him for Christmas, but I didn't think a 32 year old needed a Spiderman hoodie...I guess he does!
Day 20, Monday, January 21, 2014
I bought a new fit bit one today. My zip was not syncing. I replaced the battery for the second time this month and it just didn't work. I upgraded to this one and replaced it in my feed, so I could keep all my information. This one doesn't require a battery. It has a USB cable.
Day 19, Sunday, January 19, 2014
Coco and I went for a walk this evening. It was almost dark when we got home, but it was 40 degrees. I put his little red coat on and he pulled me the whole mile. This dog loves to go for a walk!
Day 18, Saturday, January 14, 2014
Cindy and I went to the Winter Scrapbook Retreat at Ravina at the Lakes. We scrapped from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. We had a relaxing and inspiring day with friends. It snowed most of the day.
Day 17, Friday, January 17, 2014
I got my Fit Bit year in review. I have walked 1488 miles in 365 days. You can see my "highlights" were during the month of July. We were in San Diego, walking everywhere! This little devise has motivated me to move more everyday!
Day 16, Thursday, January 16, 2014
I've been working on my birthday cards for our February card swap. I bought these little cups at Wal-Mart and they are really handy for keeping the parts from flying all over my desk!
Day 14, Tuesday, January 14, 2014
My friend Laurie was published in the Clickin' magazine this month. She took some amazing photos of snowflakes and submitted them to the magazine. Love her work at Pixel This!
Day 13, Monday, January 13, 2014
This is AJ Salmon and his family. This young man has been raising money to support St Jude. He has lost a couple of friends that were St Jude patients. We are sponsoring a PJ day on Wednesday, to raise funds. He came to school today to speak to the students and tell them how important each $1.00 is for research. Such an awesome family!
Day 12, Sunday, January 12, 2014
Jim and I went to the Riverfront Museum this afternoon to view the new exhibit. We bought the annual membership, so we can go to any of the events at the museum. Currently, the Chihuly & Friends Glass exhibit is housed in the exhibit hall. It is a beautiful and very worthwhile exhibit. It made me nervous as I was walking around, because the displays are open and I was afraid I might trip and knock something over!
Day 11, Saturday, January 11, 2014
Jim smoked 3 racks of baby back ribs. He couldn't wait to eat them. This is the first attempt at ribs. He didn't add any BBQ sauce while they were in the smoker. He thinks he might try that the next time!

Day 10, Friday, January 10, 2014
Jim got these peanut butter cups for Christmas from John and Stacie. He opened the package the other night and ate part of one. Each of these peanut butter cups weigh 8 oz. I can't wait to see how long it takes him to eat them. Right now, they are in ziploc containers....waiting!
Day 9, Thursday, January 9, 2014
Coco was just laying in the floor at my feet. He has been staying very close to me the past few weeks. He's my boy!
Wednesday, January 8, 2014
Day 8, Wednesday, January 8, 2014
We have a pile of garden pots and tools behind the garage. I thought it was ironic to see the flower pots, hoe and flower solar lights in the snow this afternoon.
Day 7, Tuesday, January 7, 2014
We had another snow day as the temperature with the wind chill is in the negative degrees. Coco has been my shadow for the past 18 days. Hard to believe I have been off that many days in a row.
Monday, January 6, 2014
Day 5, Sunday, January 5, 2014
We went to see the Harlem Globetrotter's at the Civic Center at 2 p.m.! What an awesome show! I have wanted to see them play for a very long time. This is Nikki Oliver and me with Special K. We had a great time, got autographs and pictures! It was still snowing and the temp was in the negative degrees, but it was worth it!
Day 4, Saturday, January 4, 2014
We went to lunch with Nate at Applebee's. Jim decided we needed to try Red Robin for dinner. We had gift cards for both restaurants!
Day 3, Friday, January 3, 2014
Jim let me sleep in a little this morning. I had a sinus headache. He left Coco in the kitchen. He helped himself to a waterbottle!
Day 1, Wednesday, January 1, 2014
Happy New Year! Today is the beginning of my 6th year of Project 365. I have been taking a picture everyday and journaling about it for 5 years. I am so thankful I started this project. I never thought I would make it this far and sometimes it is a struggle to keep it going, however I have taken some "interesting" pictures over the past years. It is great to look back at my blog and see what has happened to me, my family and friends! I worked on my December Daily album. It is almost finished!
Day 365, Tuesday, December 31, 2013
We went to Cindy and Eric's at 7:30. We played marbles and had some snacks until midnight. We played 4 games and ended the evening with a tie. Sounds like a good place to start 2014!
