The flowers Jim sent me for our anniversary. They are beautiful yellow roses. Thanks!

Day 121, Thursday, May 1, 2014
Today is our 38th Wedding Anniversary. Jim sent me roses and we went out to dinner at the Fish House. It was a great meal. It is hard to believe we have been married for 38 years!
Day 120, Wednesday, April 30 2014
This is one of the practice pages in my journal. Joanne posted a challenge in our Facebook group to use the Little Black Dress of lettering technique. I really like this book!
Day 118, Monday, April 28, 2014
After the race results were posted, we found out that Jim won a second place medal! He wore it all night long!
Day 117, Sunday, April 27, 2014
Stacie and I went to the Publix House in Peoria Heights, to a Vino and Van Gogh event. We painted the bejeweled tree canvas. It was a lot of fun! I hope we can go again really soon!
Day 116, Saturday, April 26, 2014
John, Jim, Stacie, Nate and I walked in the Tiger Trot 5K this morning. We finished the walk in under an hour which was the goal. Last year, John was in the hospital with a reaction to the chemo treatment. It does my heart good to see him doing so well and walking to exercise! JKLIVIN
Day 115, Friday, April 25, 2014
Finnegan came to school to visit the second grade class rooms. He is a well behaved duck and lives with Janeie's sister Juju. The students love seeing all of the ducks.
Day 114, Thursday, April 24, 2014
I have been working on the cover of my lettering journal for a few days. I can't believe this is a composition notebook. You know, the black and white marbled kind. I will be practicing my whimsical lettering lessons by Joanne Sharpe.
Day 113, Wednesday, April 23, 2014
I got my first speeding ticket on March 29. I have never gotten a ticket for anything. I was talking to Cindy and didn't realize how fast I was going. I am not positive the officer clocked my car, I don't really think I was going as fast as he said I was, but I paid it and chalked it up to a lesson learned.
Day 112, Tuesday, April 22, 2014
I got to work this morning and I had paint on my fingers. You see, I was painting, inking and sponging my lettering journal before work. I really wanted to stay in my scrap cave and work on my project!
Day 111, Monday, April 21, 2014
This was the scene at my door when I got home from work this afternoon. I honestly never ever imagined the two of them together in the same room. But it makes me happy to see them together. They may never be best friends, but they are learning to get along together.
Day 110, Sunday, April 20, 2014
Happy Easter! Peyton is showing off his Easter bucket. He got some art supplies, candy and an itunes card. We ate kettle pizza for lunch. We made six different types of pizza! It took longer than we thought, but it was worth it!
Day 109, Saturday, April 19, 2014
Nate and I went to the greenhouse today. It is really too early to put out plants, but we were looking for a few more herbs for our herb garden. Bought dill and lavender, today.
Day 108, Friday, April 18, 2014
Jim recently bought me a new ipad air. My hand me down from him, old one would no longer update the software. He found the cover I wanted with the swivel stand in purple on ebay. I use it mostly for facebook, pinterest and email. I am so fortunate to have these luxuries.
Day 107, Thursday, April 17, 2014
There are only a few of my tulips coming up in this flower bed out in front of our house. I am afraid the winter was to cold for them all to survive. Or else the moles ate the bulbs.
Day 106, Wednesday, April 16, 2014
Nate and Winston have been walking with Coco and me! Winston is always so excited to go on a walk...but about half way, he slows down a lot! And he always has to do the "business", so Nate has to carry it back home! LOL
Day 105, Tuesday, April 15, 2014
Just a little Happy Easter on my desk at school. One of our favorite families brought the bucket of goodies to us today. Jennifer brought the flower pot and Happy Easter snow globe!
Day 104, Monday, April 14, 2014
We got the best news today! Johns scan came back good, again. We couldn't be happier and will keep praying for continuing positive news! And keep praying for those still fighting cancer! JKLIVIN
