I had wood grilled shrimp tacos at Red Lobster! They were awesome and I will definitely have them again!

Earlier in the week, my shelf in the laundry room exploded! Jim and I removed and reinstalled all the old hardware and fixed the shelves so they would be double rung! Love it and yes, they are in color order.

I got home from the Barn around 2:30. p.m. We had a party at Tyler and Christen's to celebrate the soon to arrive baby, at 3 p.m. At 6 p.m., we went to John's 40th birthday day party. They have an amazing group of friends and family!

I went to the Barn for an overnight stay. It was BYOS, bring your own steak, for dinner. Kellee is such a fabulous cook! We enjoyed our steak and all the fixings!

We got new doors installed at school. They completely removed the doors and frame and installed four new doors and two windows in the spots above the doors. You can see that the interior doors have thin windows. Our outer doors were like that, too. The replacement doors have the top half of the door as a window. There is so much light coming in this foyer now.

Today is the St Jude run. There are lots of runners who are making their way to Peoria for the telethon. This is the crazy sock leg of the Pekin to Peoria run. Yes, I was laying on the ground to get this shot!

This is my little friend, Knox. His momma was a co-worker, who I miss very much. Knox is such a cute little guy! It was fun to see them both and enjoy spending time with him.

I have a tooth that is bothering me. It really started hurting last Friday. I went to my dentist yesterday and to see about a root canal today. He said he would try to do the root canal, but wasn't sure he could get through the tooth. I will be having it extracted and an implant put in soon.

It was back to work for me this morning. UGH! Nate planted tomato plants kinda late this spring. We have a couple of tomatoes on each plant.

Today I got to cross something off my bucket list!! I have wanted to feed a giraffe for a while. 4 years ago, I was standing in this same spot, about to feed a giraffe and it started raining. The animals ran to the barn to get out of the rain, so I didn't get to feed them.

Jim and I stopped in Brownsburg, Indiana, on our way to Indianapolis at Arby's to eat lunch. We were so surprised to see my younger cousin, Mike. He was on his way home from a church camp in southern Indiana! He lives in Washington, IL.

We spent the day yesterday in Galena. We left this morning after visiting a warehouse where there were all kinds of metal sculptures. We stopped at Dyerville, Iowa at the Field of Dreams, where the movie was shot 25 years ago.

My mom is playing a game in the activity room at the Memory Care Unit in Morton. She was having fun throwing the ball into the bucket. If she got all four, she got a prize...which was a cookie!

Peyton came to see me this afternoon. We are playing monopoly on my ipad. He loves to play with the ipad...because you use a "credit card" and the $$ amounts are in the millions, instead of hundreds.
