John is out of the hospital! His counts are climbing and his RSV is improving. He will have 3 appointments in the clinic this week. Keep those prayers coming for our Johnny Mac!

I went to the Farmington Crop with Cindy, Kellee, Amy, Nikki and Lisa. I got 8, 2 page layout kits done. I can't wait to get some pictures on those pages. The crop was a lot of fun, with prizes, friends, and awesome food.

The students brought their $1.00 to wear PJ's today, I know for a fact, there is more than $236 dollars there. We hope to beat our total of $761 from last year!

We told the students to bring their change or $1.00 to wear PJ's to school on Friday for St Jude. We have already collected this much money for St. Jude.

AJ Salmon came to fire up our students in the fund raiser we are supporting for St Jude. He asks the children to bring change to school, because the children at St Jude, need our help. If we work together, we can bring a lot of money to St Jude, just a $1.00 at a time.

Stacie is visiting John. He has RSV, so she has to dress in a gown, mask and gloves during her visit. We are praying he recovers quickly!

Our kindergarten students got to participate in the wedding of Mr. Q and Miss U. Our P.E. teacher was the minister. He wore a tie that had rubber ducks on it...Quack, Quack!

I made some ground beef and ground sausage mix tonight for dinner. We made pizza with part of it and saved the rest for another meal. That tool is from Pampered Chef and I don't know how I have lived my life without that meat chopper!

Nate and I took Marla and Coco to the dog park. We were the only ones there. Marla ran like a wild animal and Coco just walked around, amazed. We will go back again, soon!

The mobile Mammography truck came to school today. We scheduled 6 staff members for mammograms. We hope to have them come each year, and increase our numbers.

John has been in the hospital in Chicago since January 6. Today he received a stem cell transplant from his mom, Cathy. Tomorrow he will receive a second bag of cells and cord blood to complete the transplant. The doctor told him, today is his re-birthday! John wants presents and cake next year.

These girls are some of my best scrappy friends. We went to a crop in Morton at the VFW. JenJo made some soup for us and we ate lunch at her house. It snowed most of the day and it took a really long time to drive home. I had a great time!

We had a special visitor at school today. Santa came to visit the Pre-K students. We had him deliver candy canes to all the students. Our elf, Jovie, asked Santa to bring an Elf on the Shelf to Zoey. He was happy to make Zoey's heart believe!

Jim, Peyton and I went to the IMAX to see Christmas Vacation. We have seen it so many times, but never on the big screen. We went with Kellee, Lisa, Amy and some of their friends. Kellee, Lisa and I painted ornaments at Fired Up in the afternoon.
