We are waiting in the airport for our plane to arrive. It was about an hour late. Hopefully, we will have enough time in Chicago to get some lunch! New Orleans was a nice place to visit in the Spring. I would not want to be there in the summer!
Day 94, Thursday, April 5, 2018
We spent the day at Jackson Square. I stopped at one of the vendors and she read my Tarot cards. It was very interesting. We ate dinner at Harrah's Buffet, because the menu was supposed to be seafood, but it wasn't. I did try crawfish, but I don't like it! Beignets for the second time for the win!

On Tuesday nights, there are multiple shows we like to watch. Well, actually, we like different show. This is what I saw when I went to the kitchen, tonight.
Day 69, Sunday, March 11, 2018
I have been trying to do some meal prep. I clean the fruits and veggies for the week and put them in food saver containers. I also cook about 5 pounds of hamburger and freeze it. This saves time during the week for quick meals using ground beef.
Day 68, Saturday, March 10, 2018
This PITT pen makes the best lines and they don't smear! The pen has India ink in the barrel. I did the same design in my journal as I did in the circle journal.
Day 67, Friday, March 9, 2018
I printed these images from google to put in my big art journal. I can't wait to get this one started!
Day 66, Wednesday, March 7, 2018
I have several art journals that I am working it. It has been a great idea to have a dedicated space for my art journal. I have been waiting for an order of markers to get here. I ordered them from a store about 45 minutes from here and it has already been a week!
Day 65, Tuesday, March 6, 2018
I am so happy the sky is getting bluer everyday. It seems like the sky is always so dark in the winter months.
Day 64, Monday, March 5, 2018
I had a doctor appointment this evening. I really like my new doctor. We are changing some of the prescriptions and I will have to go back in 3 months for blood work to see how I am doing.

We always have a door decorating contest for Read Across America day. We always have the students help us with the decorations. They stars have their school photo on it and they also wrote the name of their favorite book. They got a cup of goldfish crackers for helping us.
Day 57, Monday, February 26, 2018
This is what ended up happening in my art journal last week. I did one just about the same in the circle journal. I just changed the quote. It didn't turn out the way I saw it in my head, but it still ended up okay!
Day 56, Sunday, February 25, 2018
I am another group of cards for our card swap group. I had a bunch of these Tim Holtz Crazy Birds already colored, so I made the backgrounds to match. I hope they like them.

We had a crop today at my school. This bunch of girls always has a good time. I am so thankful for their friendship, always!
