Today is Jim's mom's 92nd birthday. Jill, Rachel and Stacie went out for lunch. This evening we went to visit her. She was smiling from ear to ear.

We are having a fundraiser at school this week and next week. For a $5 donation, our staff can wear jeans for a week. If they donate a purse for Totes for Ta-Ta's, they get a second week of jeans! We donate the purses and money to help further the research for Breast Cancer and to support Illinois Cancer Care.

Cindy and I registered for an IMRF workshop. We tried to go in January, but the weather turned bad and we didn't go. We learned a lot and are looking forward to our retirement at the end of 2019, possibly.

We went out to Rob and Cyndi's to watch the Daytona 500 Race. Tomorrow is Rob's birthday day. He got a red velvet cake and changed the numbers around on his cake! He made brisket, pork loin, chicken bites, tri tip and mushrooms. We had a feast!
