We went to a benefit for Cyndi's sister. She has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer and is needing some help with medical bills. Rob made the pulled pork and Peyton is eating one of Stacie's filled cupcakes, using my mom's recipe.

I got a lobster roll for dinner. Jim told me the food trucks were in Morton and Nacho Mama had a lobster roll that sounded good. It was really good...not Portland, Maine lobster roll good, but I would get it again, minus the onions.

After almost a year, the city finally came a replaced the concrete on our back walkway. They replaced the meter last fall and left a piece of plywood and that cone sitting on top of the hole, FOR THE WHOLE WINTER! I can't tell you the number of times I tripped over that thing!

I moved the purple iris a couple of years ago to make room in our flower beds for vegetables. A friend told me once that bulbs, sleep, creep and the third year they leap. That's what happened with these.

Today, Papa Murphy's supported our Totes for Ta-Ta's fundraiser. We had pizza and made some money for our group.

Our school district attended the Peoria Cheif's ball game. Our students sang on the field before the game started. Cindy likes the Chicago Cubs and I support the St Louis Cardinals for Jim. I really think baseball should only be 5 innings.

We ate lunch at West Dublin Pub for Mother's Day. Stacie gave me money to go buy flowers for the front yard. And a nap...we had a nap on Mother's Day, too!

We had Monical's pizza tonight! They have been closed for remodeling for a few months. Today was the first day open and we had to get pizza. They didn't move their building. They expanded so they could provide better service.

Today is our 43rd Wedding Anniversary. Jim never fails to send me flowers. These are from the Greenhouse Flower Shop and they are beautiful! We went to eat dinner at Jonah's Oyster Bar. He had them put a message for us on the menu!
