I mentioned to Jim, that I was going to take the Valentine's Day ornaments off the tree and put the beach stuff on it. He said "What about my day?" So, because it is his birthday, I created a St. Patrick's Day tree just for him!

Day 54, Sunday, February 23, 2020
This is the first art journal I have done in about a year or so. I was frustrated with my work area. I needed a dedicated space. I solved that problem last Monday. I have already started another journal page. This makes me "HAPPY'.
Day 53, Saturday, February 22, 2020
I adopted the word "happy' last year as my "one little word". I can honestly say, I really think about the word "HAPPY" often. I know the word has changed my way of thinking or feeling on so many occasions.
Day 52, Friday, February 21, 2020
I used a stamp & die set I have had for a while. I was dragging my feet because I was afraid to color the mermaid. But I think I did ok, even though I was tired of coloring them when I finished.
Day 50, Wednesday, February 19, 2020
We took Stacie to Jonah's for her birthday. I still can not believe my daughter is 40 years old. I think she had a great birthday with family and friends, this year.
Day 49, Tuesday, February 18, 2020
I saw this quote a few days ago. A visual reminder is always a good idea. Just one small change can make you see things differently.
Day 48, Monday, February 17, 2020
I spent most of the day working on my art journal set up. I had a table in this same place and I wanted something more mobile. I can move it to get stuff on the shelves behind this area.
Day 47, Sunday, February 16, 2020
Jim brought me flowers for Valentine's Day. They smelled so good sitting on the table. We didn't do anything special because we had Stacie's party the next night.
Day 46, Saturday, February 15, 2020
We tried to surprise Stacie for her birthday, but no, she knew before she got to the party. We had a great time anyway, celebrating her 40th birthday!
Day 45, Friday, February 14, 2020
I stopped at school to pick up some cookie dough bites that Keeley had made for me for Stacie's B-Day party. I was so happy to see Jennifer, Stacey and Teri. I saw some of the students and they were so happy to see me!
Day 44, Thursday, February 13, 2020
The temperature has been below freezing for a couple of days. The trees are still covered in snow and ice. They are so beautiful!
Day 43, Wednesday, February 12, 2020
It has been snowing off and on since yesterday. I don't have to get out in the weather unless I want to, since I retired!
Day 42, Tuesday, February 11, 2020
Early this morning, I stepped outside to put mail in the box. I couldn't resist taking a photo of our flag with the moon still visible in the early morning sky.
Day 41, Monday, February 10, 2020
We had our card swap last Monday night. Our group does an amazing job making cards! I am go grateful for their friendship and talent!
Day 40, Sunday, February 9, 2020
My friend Lisa has opened a shop in Metamora. Her shop is called Crafty Auntie. She has scrapbook supplies and lots of junk art journals. I am so proud of her.
Day 39, Saturday, February 8, 2020
Jim suggested we go to Logan's Roadhouse for dinner tonight. We always went on Tuesday nights after I finished playing tennis. We haven't been to Logan's in a long time. It was good, but there were a couple of events at the Civic Center, so it was really busy.
Day 38, Friday, February 7, 2020
I used this glue at the Barn. Nikki let me try hers. I had Jim ordered it for me from Amazon. No one had it in stock in our area. I also got the metal tip and stainless steel pin. Works great!
Day 37, Thursday, February 6, 2020
Tonight we went to dinner to celebrate Janelle becoming a Grandma in March! It was great to see everyone from school. We ate at Purdue's in Tremont! Yummy!
Monday, February 24, 2020
Day 36, Wednesday, February 5, 2020
While I am waiting on the results of my blood work, I thought I would check out the gluten free products. OMG! I hope I don't have to change my diet and eat this so very expensive food!!
Tuesday, February 4, 2020
Day 34, Monday, February 3, 2020
I bought this little red truck before Thanksgiving. I have been changing the "load" to reflect the season or holiday. I added red and white carnations to the back. There are a few glitter red hearts in the bunch, too.
Day 33, Sunday, February 2, 2020
Today is a palindrome. The date reads the same forward and backward. The last time this happened was 10/02/2001.
Day 32, February 1, 2020
I found this sole scrubber on Amazon. It came and I used it. It works pretty good! I hope it helps to keep my calluses off my feet.
Day 31, January 31, 2020
I am so ready for the month of January to be over. I don't like the cold weather or snow and ice. I have fallen a couple of times on the ice the past few years.
Day 30, January 30, 2020
I had to have an endoscope to check for an ulcer. No ulcer! The doctor thought I might have a "silent ulcer" because my iron count was so low.
Day 28, Tuesday, January 28, 2020
Chicken Legs!! OMG! I bought all of the legs she had on the heat table. The last time I bought all of the legs, the lady threw a fit. She said as she shoved the container across the counter at me, "You must really like your husband, a lot!" Because I told her the legs were for him.
Day 27, Monday, January 27, 2020
Jim got an email with all the anniversaries for this week. I still can't believe he has 19 years at Morton Buildings.
Day 26, Sunday, January 26, 2020
I love this quote! This shell makes it more special since I am going on a girl's trip to the beach very soon!
