We slept in this morning and drove up to Haleakala Crater. It was 37 miles of twists and turns. We climbed 37 miles to the top. It was beautiful, cold and windy. In the afternoon, we ate lunch in Paia at Cafe' Mambo. We drove to Ho'okipa Beach and watched the sea turtles basking in the sun. There were about 45-50 laying on the beach. Such beautiful creatures! We ate dinner at the Ale House again and sat on the beach after dinner.
