Today was Jim's open heart surgery. He had to have his mitral valve replaced with a tissue (pig) one. The surgery went well. He was on the heart/lung machine for around 3 hours. He will stay in the cardiac ICU for a few days and hopefully will get to come home on Friday or Saturday.
