We had a busy day!  We went to Fort Morgan, which is the only beach Coco can go on the sand and in the water.  He doesn't really like the surf but loves the sand and all the sniffs!  He was so tired after we walked on the beach.  We ate at the Shrimp Basket in Foley.  I could eat my weight in hot peel and eat shrimp!

We joined Planet Fitness, so we can continue our exercise routine.  It was 72 degrees today.  We had a visit from a cardinal in the yard at our cottage.  Coco loves to walk around the yard during the day.

The Fairhope Pier is absolutely one of our favorite places.  We came here in 2019 looking for a place to stay in January 2020.  Coco can be on the grounds, just not on the sand and water.  So many smells for him!

Our first time to visit Buc-cee's!  Coco thought it was pretty cool!  LOL  We made it to Fairhope about 4:00 p.m.  Our vacation is off to a great start!

You can't see Coco... but he is back there in his car seat.  We are off to Fairhope, Alabama, for the month of February.  Our first time being "Snow Birds"!

I took purses to sell for Totes for Ta-Ta's.  Anyone who bought a purse or brought a purse to donate got a green ticket!  I got $175 in donations, $235 in Sales, 67 purses donated and 17 purses sold!  Thanks so much to my crafty friends at The Barn III.

The Crafter's Conference at The Barn III started at 1:00 p.m!  This is the 3rd year I have participated in this event.  I had made some new friends during the past few years.  The staff at the Barn is wonderful to everyone who attends!

I have been a fan of Norbert for several years now.  He is an amazing little guy who is a therapy dog.  He passed away yesterday in the arms of his mama.  He was just 2 months shy of being 16 years old. He was the only pup in his litter.  As an adult dog, he only weighted 3 pounds.

I am going to a retreat in a few days.  I have started packing my "crap" to take with me.  I always over pack, but this year I will be driving home between days, so I don't have to take as much stuff all at once!

I have been working a set of puzzles from one box.  There are 8 different puzzles.  This one has 500 pieces.  It is #4 in the set.  I love working puzzles but sometimes have a hard time walking away from them.  I have been trying to work on them in the evening for 30-60 minutes and then walking away.

We bought the glass heart in St Petersburg last May.  I got one for me and one for Stacie.  I had my friend Kim, who does wonderful jewelry.  She made this necklace for me and a key chain for Stacie with shamrocks.

We created this sign for our new boutique for Totes for Ta-Ta's.  Ashley is so supportive of our fundraising efforts!  It will be fun to watch this sign change throughout the year!

Jim has the bird feeders out.  The squirrels are very brave and try to get seeds from every feeder.  They are eating all the seeds the birds have kicked out the feeder from above.

I went to a Stampin' Up event yesterday with Carol, Vicki and Diane!  It was so much fun!  I love the cards I completed.  I really enjoyed spending time with my stamping friends.

We had our appointments at customs for Global Entry.  We got our TSA pre-approval in June.  Mine came through out 2 weeks after our appt in June.  Jim's finally came through in December.  This was the first appt available.

Lisa, Pam and I met for lunch in Washington at Blue Margarita!  We had so much fun talking, laughing and catching up after Christmas.  We are planning to get to together again soon!

I volunteered at Take Two Resale Boutique, this afternoon.  I try to help a couple of hours a day, two days a week while Jim is taking his nap!  We have been doing really good selling our Totes for Ta-Ta's purses!

We went to eat dinner at Cracker Barrel.  I always get the grilled chicken tenders and Jim always gets the Pot Roast.  While we wait for our food, I play the golf tee game.  Tonight there were 4 tees missing!  Guess I will have to take my own tees next time!

A friend invited me to an event for Stampin' Up!  It has been a few years since I went to a Stampin' Up! event.  I enjoyed making these cards and viewing a ton of cards made with their products!

I have done "December Daily" project for 11 years.  2024 is the 12th year.  This is the first time I have not even started the class until January.  This afternoon I watched and cut the papers in the first video.  I hope I can get it finished this month.

As the "boutique manager" for Totes, (this is not a paid position) I keep a spreadsheet with the totals for the month from each of the boutiques we sell purses.  Around April, I secretly set a goal of $10,000, for the year.  I am so happy we busted right past that goal for 2024!  Let's go, 2025!

I needed a pedi desperately!  A good friend gave me a gift certificate for Christmas.  I went to get my toes done.  I picked this pink polish because pink is my friends favorite color.  After they were dry, I looked at the color and the name was "Princesses Rule".  Just perfect!

We went to see the Muppets exhibit this morning.  We got there are 9:45 and the line was estimated to be at least an hour and half long.  Oh boy!  We actually waited about 45 minutes. They had the line running all through the museum.  We did enjoy it.  Next time we will not wait until the last couple of days.  This exhibit was leaving the country after showing in Peoria.

We went to The Peoria Riverfront Museum to see the Muppets display.  The wait was about 3 hours long.  So we decided to come back tomorrow morning.  We went to the Burger Barge for dinner.

This guy jumped up from the ground to get into the birdfeeder.  There is a slinky on the pole through the hook.  He didn't last very long, though.

We noticed there wasn't any birds or squirrels in our yard for the last hour or so.  I was in the kitchen washing my hands and looked out the window and saw this big bird.  So we use google lens to find out what it was.  It is a hawk.  No wonder the other animals were no where to be seen.  It stayed that way for at least an hour before anyone came back to our feeders.

We had our traditional New Year's Eve dinner.  The past few years it has just been me and Jim.  We like having the Charcuterie board for our dinner.  We added some soup, too!  Happy New Year!

We had our traditional Christmas morning breakfast, stockings, gifts, lottery tickets and family.  Merry Christmas!  We watched a new to us Christmas movie tonight after everyone left.  It was "A Christmas in Vermont".  Chevy Chase was in it briefly.

I have been working on sorting the shells we got from Kice Island and Sanibel Island.  I got them arranged into a circle of sorts.  They still need to be cleaned but at least I got them put away for now.
