We ran some errands and when we got home, some little furbaby had pushed the gate down. He was busy "reading" the newspaper and trying on the flip flops!

I am amazed that this plant is still alive! I take all of my house plants outside as soon as I can every spring. This one dropped every leaf and was completely bear one week in April! I thought it was a total loss, but put it outside anyway. I kept watering it and within a few days, I could see little sprouts on the limbs. I am so happy it made it!

It has been so hot lately (over 100 degrees everyday!), so Peyton and I spent our last afternoon together for summer at the movies. We went to see the movie, Ice Age. It was really cute and very cool in the movie theater!

All summer long, Peyton and I have been going to Chuck E. Cheese once a week. We have been collecting the tickets to use on one big prize. Today, was our final visit for summer 2012! He had a great time feeding the tickets into the ticket machine and ended up getting a 2000 ticket prize. (with a $5.00 donatation from Aunt Aprile, of course!)

Jim decided to complete a "Grand Slam" this year. He ordered a player's towel from each of the four major tennis tournaments. The last one just arrived.

While we were on vacation, my 2011 Project 365 yearbook came. One of my goals for summer was to get this book finished. I won a free book from Becky Higgins, so this one only cost me shipping. I am very happy with the quality of the book and pictures. The only thing I was disappointed with is on the front cover. You can see the white circle on the right side has "2011" and it is hanging off the side of the book. Guess I have to live with that!
