We had planned a little graduation party for Amy.  She didn't get to come out to the Barn because her back was out!  We had a cake and decorations.  We sent her this picture of her party and celebrated her graduation anyway!  We had Costco cake, so we had to eat it! LOL  We will do a party for her next time!

Day 148, Friday, May 28, 2021

 

We went to the Barn for a scrappy weekend.  This is a classroom size chalk board in the main room.  Sandy came over from the farm house and told us she is "officially" retiring from the bed and breakfast on December 1.  While we are sad we won't be able to go to the Barn after December, we are happy for her retirement....she is 82!  We do have two weekends booked, one in September and one in November.

We had a celebration at Martini's for those who retired during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years.  I got my apple award for 32 years of service!

When we were in Orange Beach, my friend Amy taught me how to park correctly.  I think I am doing better! :)

I am still working on our vacation to Pennsylvania so my 6x6 paper pad sketch is two pages again.  The left side looks like the single page sketch and I added the right side to complete my story.

I have been going to ICPR for physical therapy 3 times a week since mid March.  There are beautiful flower beds of lavender in the front of the building.

Jim brought some peonies home from his parents house.  They are such a bright shade of pink.  The closing on the house will be in the next few days.  He had managed to get a start from a couple of the flowers bushes in their yard, including the rose bush that was started in his grandma's house from her wedding bouquet.
