Coco has been sitting right at my feet.  He sleeps in his kennel all the time, except now... he thinks he needs to be right beside me.  So, we put a blanket down on the floor and he sleeps there at night.  He cried in his kennel the first two nights, so we let him sleep at my feet and he didn't cry anymore.

 

Day 212, Saturday, July 31, 2021

 

Here I am, on the couch, between pain pill naps!  I need help getting in and out of the sling and Cryo Cuff.  This is where I will be for the next 6 weeks!

I will write a letter to the family who donated tissue that was used during my surgery.  Without this tissue, I don't know how successful my repair would be.  So, thanks for your donation of tissue!

Day 210, Thursday, July 29, 2021

 

Today is my surgery!  The repairs went well except for one thing.  When the doctor put the post in my shoulder to reattach the tendon and muscle, the post went through my bone.  He had to put donor tissue in the hole to make the post stable.

Day 209. Wednesday, July 28, 2021

 

My appointment to get my fitting for my sling was today.  I will have to wear this contraption for 6 weeks.  I have 3 tears in different parts of my rotator cuff, 1 tear in my biceps and a complete tear in the muscle and tendon that attach from my back to the shoulder in the front.  I also bought the Cryo Cuff which is an ice "machine" that will cool the shoulder at all times.

I made these flower arrangements to fit in a small crate.  They are seasonal with one of the groupings for Breast Cancer Awareness for our Totes silent auction.
