Day 270, Sunday, September 27

The Peoria Art Guild, hosted the annual Fine Arts Fair on the river front this weekend. We walked along the river front viewing all of the booths from the various artists. (These are not the "starving artist") The most expensive item we saw was about $6,000 ... oh my! There were all kinds of medium...jewelry, pottery, painting (oil & acrylic), photography, textiles and glass works. It was a great afternoon to view all the works of art.

You could participate in the community art project by painting a "tile". The Interactive Mural this year was a copy of the painting "Poppies" by artist Hyacinth Manning.

  1. Oh, I'm so jealous. I'd love an afternoon of art around me. Great pictures.
