Day 208, Tuesday, July 27

I got this "great" idea that I should make something to remember our trip to Summer 2010 CHA. I wanted to make something for my friends, Cindy, Kelly and Pam. I had made a paper bag album in a class at Scrapadoodle a couple of weeks ago using Jillybean Soup paper...taught by the awesome Jill, who owns the company. I dug around in the scrap cave to find some papers (this "idea" popped into my head the wednesday before we left on vacation on friday!). I didn't have time to shop for paper and embellishments...so I found a 6x6 paper pad and started creating this album. I didn't want to posted this until after I went to CHA and met Pam and Kelly! So, I made four of these paper bag albums for my friends and me, too! I think they liked them!

There are 4 different tabs, a spot for writing a little and a place for a wallet size picture on each page.

I used a few leftover journaling sprouts from my Jillybean soup class and lots and lots of different punches to create all of the circles, scallops and borders.

I stamped some of the images and added a few buttons tied with linen thread.

Of course, a girl has to have a little bling! Love this little leaf charm.

I also added a few brads to give it a little dimension (well, and lots of pop dots).

On the back cover, I asked each of the girls to autograph the page. There is a little calendar stamp in the corner to circle the dates! I enjoyed making these for my friends and can't wait to get the photos in the book and the journaling done!
